Located in Chinna Kalapet, Puducherry, the University has two big auditoriums, several seminar halls, conference halls, etc. All the major events, such as conferences, workshops, seminars, meetings, placement programmes and cultural events take place in the university's auditoriums. Both the auditoriums are well-furnished, air-conditioned and equipped with modern facilities. The university also has a health centre in association with Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences. Pondicherry University Hostels Facilities
The university has a total of 22 hostels, of which fourteen are for boys and eight are for girls. The hostel facilities are separate for boys and girls students. Out of these 14 hostels, 10 hostels are for are for PG courses and four for Research Scholars. For girls, 7 hostels are for PG courses, and 1 hostel is for research scholars. All the hostel rooms have all the basic amenities, including a study table, a chair, cupboards, fans, electricity, etc. For the residential students, dining and mess facilities are compulsory. Dining out at the hostel mess is strictly prohibited. Five well-equipped messes (three for boys & two for girls) are given for dining.
Apart from the hostel facilities, the University also has a day care centre for the faculty and staff members. Children are taken care of by trained and dedicated caretakers with the assistance of two helpers. A food facility is there at the day care centre with home-cooked food. Pondicherry University Hostel Fees:
The hostel fees are to be paid every year at the beginning of the academic year in June/ July as follows:
- Room Rent for P.G students – INR 900/- p.a.
- Room Rent for Ph.D – INR 1800/- p.a.
- General Amenities Fund – INR 700/- p.a.
- Establishment Charges – INR 300/- p.a.
- Application Fees (at the time of admission only) – INR 75/-

The Ananda Rangapillai Library is renowned for its disabled friendly modern infrastructure (80,000 sq. ft), fully air-conditioned, WIFI enabled, services for the Visually Challenged among the proactive services with RFID technology and 24/7 remote access to a collection of 4.97 lakhs, of which print is 2.22 and 2.7 lakhs of e-resources (e-books, e-journals, e-databases, e-theses, Academic Online Videos, Video Talks etc.). Pondicherry University has 17 hostels in the campus, out of which 11 are for men, 5 for women students/research scholars and 1 for foreign students. SC/ST students and all women students are exempted from payment of room rent. Differently-abled students are provided free accommodation and food. The University has well furnished AC and non AC facilities for the foreign students to stay in C.V.Raman hostel for boys (50 rooms) and Madame Curie hostel for girls (50 rooms).

Infrastructure: There is a 24/7 library with Wi-Fi and washroom facilities. Facilities are good at Pondicherry University. For B.Tech + MBA, classrooms are good, it feels like an IIT classroom. In the classroom, there is Wi-Fi, AC, and a projector facility. Hostel facilities are good; in the hostel, a 24/7 guard is present. Water coolers and Wi-Fi are available. For playing sports, there is a stadium here.
Infrastructure: As Computer Science is new in my college, it is growing. Wi-Fi facilities are good on campus; the campus has its own Wi-Fi, and classrooms and libraries are also 4.5-star rated. Labs are there, but the labs are old. Hostel and mess facilities are very good, and proper medical facilities are also provided by the university.
Infrastructure: Labs are really good, like internet is available all the time. The internet, and projectors are available in every classroom. We have a central library as well. It contains a variety of books that we can issue for free, but have to return within one month. Food is above average, chicken/paneer is served twice a week. One room is given to three people, but it is big enough, there are two cupboards along with racks. We also have many canteens serving delicious street-style food.
Infrastructure: The course is best because you are getting both B.Tech and an MBA degree from here. Therefore, I think this is the best course. The hostel is the best. You can get 24/7 electricity and good water, but the mess food is sometimes disappointing because the mess food can be so hectic that you are not able to eat it.
Infrastructure: Hostels are very good, with good facilities and daily cleaning. There is proper 24-hour lighting, and the rooms have three-person sharing. The quality of the mess food is not so good, but we can call it average. There is also a canteen where you can get cold drinks and snacks, as well as sports and games available.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available. Qualities are also good. They charge a slightly high amount as a fee for that, but it's not worth it. Only try to take admission for the course, then stay & eat in nearby areas. That can be useful to students. The canteen is available.
Infrastructure: It has very good classrooms. The atmosphere and hostel are very good. There is a 24-hour Wi-Fi facility in my college. The hostel facility is also available in my college. For any emergency, a doctor is also available at my college. Every year, it conducts sports events, like kho-kho, kabaddi, and volleyball, in the college.
Infrastructure: It will be a good infrastructure with good airflow and positive views. Wi-Fi is available in every lab, making it easy for us to access and learn. The quality of the hostel is good and clean, but there are fewer restrooms. In fact, they are building a new hostel with a gym and more restrooms, which will be good to stay in.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, and only Ethernet is available in labs. Mobiles are strictly prohibited, and if caught, they will not return them as we are not allowed to use or bring mobiles to college. The business studies department only has these strict rules, even though it's 2026, and still, they do not allow mobile phones.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great and well-maintained. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. There are many labs around the campus with great machines. The quality of food at the hostel is good. Sports are fine too. There are 2 hostels for boys, 1 for girls, and another hostel is in development. There are 4 canteens with a great variety of food.
Infrastructure: Campus life at Pondicherry University is beautiful. The university has an excellent environment. The university has a big library. Almost every book and journal we require is there. Classroom infrastructure is also good with technologies like projectors and microphones. In the university, hostels are quite less compared to students, but they give preference to distant students. Overall, the facilities of the hostels are good, and the food quality in the mess is good.
Infrastructure: The facilities available right now have been used for a long time and haven't been updated yet in classrooms and labs. But the medical facilities are good, with proper canteens available across the campus. Wi-Fi provided is of good quality in certain places, reaching even up to 16 Mbps/sec.

Infrastructure: Coming to facilities and infrastructure, it's very good for our department, which has a newly designed building with an AI sensor corridor light, which was used from 2015. The hostel is good with very well furnished rooms and the best maintenance and cleaning all around the campus, not only in the toilets. Mess food is good for what we are paying, like we are paying, and the canteen service is very good. Medical is next-level full fee, with well-maintained hygiene, and also 24/7. Sports and game...
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The network connection is quite poor, to be honest. We have library facilities. Our college conducts tournaments every year for all sports. Inter-college matches are available for all sports. The canteen food is below average.
