PRSU allows candidates to join UG courses directly based on merit. The university accepts Class 12 scores for the same, provided the candidate is eligible for his/her course. however, for PG and PG Diploma programmes along with certain UG courses, PRSU accepts national level entrance exams and PRSU PG entrance exam scores. The course- specific entrance exams and their syllabus are available on the official portal. Students are advised to check the portal for the same.

PRSU is a well-known university in the state of Chhattisgarh. The university offers a two-year MA course across various popular specialisations such as Linguistics, Economics, Psychology, English, History, etc. The university provides good placement support to its students. PRSU has not released the course-wise placements report as of now. However, the university has released its NIRF 2023 report. Pandit Ravi Shankar University Raipur is one of the esteemed university which was established in 1964. The institute is accredited with A Grade by NAAC and approved by the AICTE. PRSU University, through its 29 teaching departments or schools of study and around 150 affiliated colleges, offers PG, UG, PG diploma, certificate, diploma, doctoral, and post-doctoral courses to students across Management, Science, Arts, Law, Commerce, and other streams. The university has a placement cell and students have the opportunity to work with eminent MNCs. 

At the UG level, PRSU University offers two-year B.P.Ed and B.Ed, four-year BPharma, five-year BA LLB, three-year BVoc, and one-year B.Lib.I.Sc courses to students. At the PG level, the university offers two-year MA, MSc, LLM, M.P.Ed, MBA, and MCA courses to students. The university also offers diploma, doctoral, post-doctoral, and various other courses to students. Aspirants shall first check the course-specific eligibility criteria and ensure that they meet the same. Eligible students can further go further with the application procedure. The application form can be filled out via online or offline modes. For offline application submission, candidates need to visit the university campus. Further, for online form filling, the below-mentioned steps can be followed:

1. Visit the PRSU official website (prsu.ac.in).
2. Click on the registration link and download the application form.
3. Fill out the application form carefully and upload the required documents.
4. Pay the application fee through credit card/debit card/net banking.
5. Submit the application form.

In order to submit the application successfully for BA LLB course, aspirants are required to pay the application fee within the stipulated deadline. The fee payment can be done via both online or offline modes. For online fee payment, candidates can pay through credit card/debit card/net banking. For offline submission, candidates need to accompany the application form with a DD of INR 400 payable to the Registrar, Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University offers various UG, PG and Diploma-based courses. The duration of these ranges between one year to four years. PRSU also offers five-year integrated courses in the field of Law. Those who pass all the selection parameters of Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University course admissions are required to pay the course fee at the time of admission. For admission to the integrated BA LLB course, it's mandatory to qualify for university-level entrance exam. In addition, it is necessary that the candidate has passed Class 12 exam from a recognised board. The students who meet the criteria can fill out the application form. Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by National Testing Agency ( NTA), for candidates pursuing management studies in top educational institutes.

The dates for Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is not officially announced by the conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA) yet. However, the examination is expected to be conducted anyday during the month of April or May .

NTA will notify the candidates at least two to three months prior to the examination i.e. during January or February to begin the registration process.

PRSU admissions for B.A. Course is merit-based. Students need to fulfil the eligibility criteria for admissions. The eligibility criteria is that candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Eligible candidates can apply both via online and offline mode. For online application, students need to visit the PRSU official website and fill in the application form.

Pandit Ravi Shankar University Raipur offers good placements to the students. The median package for UG (3-year) and BPharma courses stood at INR 2.40 LPA and INR 2.50 LPA, respectively. The median package for PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) courses, stood at INR 2.04 LPA and INR 2.45 LPA, respectively.

During 2023 placements, the median package for BPharma and UG (3-year) courses stood at INR 2.50 LPA and INR 2.40 LPA, respectively. Further, the median package offered to PG (2-year) students was INR 2.45 LPA. Looking at the past three years' statistics, a fluctuating trend was observed in the BPharma and PG (2-year) median packages. On the other hand, year-on-year growth was recorded in the median package of UG (3-year) courses. PRSU admission 2024 has been completed for all courses. As per the last admission process, the final merit lists have been released for the courses Law and Management courses. However, the new dates for the admission year 2025 are yet to be released. They are expected to be out soon on the official website.
