The eligibility criteria for admissions to the BSc course at Quantum University are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Additionally, the admission process is based on merit, which is released on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their higher senior secondary. Moreover, for BSc in Animation & VFX and BSc in Gaming & UI/UX, merit in NID DAT (Prelims) will be given preference. For admissions to BSc courses at Haridwar University, candidates are required to complete their Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50% in the Science stream, and the admission process is based on merit, evaluated on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in Class 12. Therefore, admissions to BSc courses in both of the universities are almost the same. Candidates can choose any of the universities according to their location preferences, choosen specialsiations and availability of seats.

No, NID DAT (Prelims) is not compulsory for admissions to BSc courses. The admission process for BSc courses is merit-based. Except for BSc in Gaming and UI/UX and BSc in Animation and VFX, merit in NID DAT (Prelims) will be given preference. Therefore, just for these two specialisations, the university considers the scores of the NID DAT (Prelims). Rest, candidates can get admissions to BSc courses on the basis of merit, evaluated on the basis of candidates' Class 12 scores.

Additionally, a minimum aggregate of 45% to 50% is required in Class 12 for admissions to the BSc course. However, the merit cutoff may vary each academic year.
