No, NID DAT (Prelims) is not compulsory for admissions to BSc courses. The admission process for BSc courses is merit-based. Except for BSc in Gaming and UI/UX and BSc in Animation and VFX, merit in NID DAT (Prelims) will be given preference.

No, NID DAT (Prelims) is not compulsory for admissions to BSc courses. The admission process for BSc courses is merit-based. Except for BSc in Gaming and UI/UX and BSc in Animation and VFX, merit in NID DAT (Prelims) will be given preference. Therefore, just for these two specialisations, the university considers the scores of the NID DAT (Prelims). Rest, candidates can get admissions to BSc courses on the basis of merit, evaluated on the basis of candidates' Class 12 scores.
