Best college in our district, but placement is poor. The building and environment are above average.

Placements: Placement of this college is below average because no company prefers this college at first. As maximum students are from village areas, most students are less careful about their studies. But some teachers are very careful about us. We hope that placements will increase in the next few years.

Infrastructure: Campus is average, but working on new buildings, which is very good. They use smart boards. They use air conditioning. They use lifts as the building has many floors. I love the new building. Everyone is excited for the new building, including me and all my friends.

Faculty: Here, the study style is above average. The faculty of our department is better than all other departments of our university. There are 2 computer labs for our department, used for practical purposes. Exams are taken on time. The curriculum is less in our department because of the students.

Other: Teachers tries their best.

Review of Raiganj University.

Placements: About 60% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. HP was the top recruiting company of our course. About 20% of the students got internships. The requirement system was good enough compared to other colleges in our town, and we got very much help from teachers.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is also available in our department. Labs and classrooms are also clean. Outdoor sports like cricket, football, etc., are also held here.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very good, and they help as much as they can. They conduct many extra classes as well, and our HOD sir was also good. They helped us very much whenever we needed them. There were two madams and 2 sirs in our college who helped us in our assignments and even in personal lives also. We got much support from them, and we like them very much.

Poor infrastructure, no on-campus placements, and not satisfied at all.

Placements: There is no placement on campus. Some of my friends do internships through Infosys Springboard and Edunet Foundation. Some students also do freelancing. I have been selected for the Google Student Ambassador Programme. The average percentage of students is around 80–85%. There are no on-campus placements, and students find internships and jobs through off-campus opportunities.

Infrastructure: Classrooms and the library are good, but there is no lab in our university. The hostel rooms are not very good. There are no major issues with sports facilities. The canteen is okay.

Faculty: There is no issue with faculty. They are well-educated and knowledgeable. Their teaching methods are good according to the syllabus and examination pattern. The course is not industry-ready. But provides a strong foundation for building a career in tech. I do not know the exact pass percentage, but the passing marks are 25 out of 60.

Other: I genuinely enjoy technology. They have a strong interest in Data Science. I am from Dakshin Dinajpur, where there are not many good colleges. Our college should focus more on practical classes. Here students can learn from each other and understand concepts more easily. Due to the lack of practical classes, the course has some limitations. Other engineering colleges have modern classrooms, libraries, and labs. Raiganj University needs to improve many things. Compared to other engineering colleges and universities, our university is not very good. Other courses like Zoology, Microbiology, History, Geography, and Sericulture are better.
