Satisfied but not so much because of faculty members. If you study well, you will get a job.

Placements: First of all, if you want to get a job you have to study. 1 student gets into Sentientgeeks (startups). TCS smart role and also other company comes. In startups, you get first 6 month internship if your performance is good they offer 3 LPA. The highest package is 3 LPA, the lowest package is 1.9 LPA.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good and infrastructure is good. If you study well absolutely you get job. Labs are not so much good but can work there. Here you can find many messes but rent is a little high according to boys mess. Boys mess fees are less. Medical facilities are also available. Beside college one medical shop is there.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. But if you want to study strictly and maintain a schedule life I say to admission for BCA course. Not industry-ready but after getting a job the company provides training. There are 3 exams per semester, 2 internal exams with 25 marks and 1 final ESE exam 40 marks.

Our 3 year journey at Midnapore College.

Placements: Around 30% of students got the chance for job opportunities. The highest package is about 4 LPA, and the minimum package is 3 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Sentiment Geeks, and Accenture give opportunities for high paying jobs.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are extraordinary and feel like a class. Labs are good enough. Library provides you with all possible books related to your studies. Indoor and outdoor games, music, dance, quizzes, and all extracurricular activities are conducted in your academics. The food in the canteen is good and healthy.

Faculty: All teachers are skilled for your learning. They help all students in any purpose. If you are interested in your field of study, then obviously, you are ready to crack all the opportunities in all over industries, both technical and non-technical. Exams are not too difficult, it is easy to get excellent academic marks.

Other: Computer Science is an extraordinary course for your learning in technical fields. It helps us to get an opportunity for success in the technical fields. We can understand real-time problems and work on them.

Let's have a view on Midnapore College (Autonomous).

Placements: Likely 20-30% of students were placed in our course. The average package offered is 2-3 LPA. Accenture and Sentiangicks are the top recruiting companies. About 30% of students got internships from our course in Accenture, Sentiangicks, and TCS. After completing the internship program, most students get placed in those companies.

Infrastructure: For the Computer Science department, one software lab is available, but the hardware lab has to be shared with another department. One smart classroom is available. The library is in great condition, with a large collection of books. There are plenty of staff in the library to provide services. Hostels are available for both boys and girls who live 100 km away from the college. Other students must take personal rooms or private mess arrangements near the college. The food quality in the hostel is very good. The college canteen offers various types of food for students and teachers. Each year, an annual sports and cultural function is organized by the college.

Faculty: Our teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. This course does not fully prepare students for industrial work, meaning IT sector jobs. Students have to learn additional skills outside the syllabus for industrial work. College semester exams are not too difficult, and 80-85% of students pass each semester.

Other: I mainly chose Computer Science to gain deep knowledge about the subject and prepare myself for industrial work in the IT sector. I thought this course would help me prepare for IT jobs, but it doesn't include the essential topics needed in the IT sector. If students want deep knowledge about the Computer Science field, they can choose this course. The college campus is well decorated, with excellent cycle stand and library facilities. There are no unions or political parties on campus. The college website is available 24/7 to provide information and help students.

If you want to take admission in Computer Science then please choose another college.

Placements: About 20-30% of students get placed in the CS BCA department. The college and department don't provide any training for placements. If you want to be placed after graduation, you have to do self-study. The package is between 1.9 and 2.5 LPA. In 2023, Accenture came for campus placements. From Computer Science, 2 students got placements.

Infrastructure: Faculty members are not good, actually. Tuition politics is happening. Professors are not helpful. The lab is not so good; half of the computers are not working. One good point is that the lab is air-conditioned. The food at the canteen is more expensive than at the off-campus shops. Annual sports events are arranged by the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are not so good. Some of them are good, and some of them are very bad. Classes are not conducted regularly. Three exams are conducted in a semester: 1st internal, 2nd internal, and the end-semester exam. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. The depth of the curriculum does not make the students industry-ready, actually.

Other: I have chosen this college because of its reputation. Honestly, the CS depth is not good. Everything should improve in the depth.

It is a historical and well-demanding college for students.

Placements: Almost 75% of students are placed in our course on campus. The salary package offered is 10 LPA to 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., visit our campus. Almost 25-50% of students get internships at Wipro and TCS. The top role offered is a web developer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Air-conditioners are available in all labs. Our classrooms are very clean, ventilated, and lit. There are two types of libraries such as the simple library and the digital library. Girls' and boys' hostels are available. A canteen is available. Indoor and outdoor games are available.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are well-qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 95%.

Really good and very helpful college; I will always recommend it.

Placements: 90 percent of students are placed, but you have to be patient; you need to wait more time to be placed. Many companies came here, and the packages are very good. The minimum package is INR 2 lacs, so don't worry. 80 percent of students got internships from this course.

Infrastructure: All facilities are good here; Wi-Fi is good; labs are very good; classrooms are very good; the quality of libraries is good; the quality of security is good; sports are also available; medical facilities are all available here; games are also played here; and food is also good here.

Faculty: Teachers are also very useful; they also help us; they are all qualified teachers; and they are all knowledgeable. The course curriculum is also relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not all that difficult if you study well, and the pass percentage is 60 percent.

Other: This course is very good because this is a science age. You will always know about computers, and computers should be improved. All activities are done here.

Review of Midnapore College.

Placements: Almost 75% of students got placed in our course. They don't offer salary packages. Companies won't visit our college to recruit students. Our department never takes any responsibility for internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. I would not recommend joining this college. They provide sports facilities.

Faculty: Our college has many professors. They don't conduct classes. Attendance is mandatory in our college. The pass percentage is 34%. They conduct offline classes and online exams. Our course fee is high. There is a shortage of papers. They don't provide systematic rules. Semester exams are moderate. Everyone can attempt exams.

I'm dissatisfied with the infrastructure but satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: Around 20% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the lowest salary package is 1 LPA, and the average salary package is 2 LPA. The recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, and Cognizant. Internships are not provided to students. The roles offered are front-end developer, back-end developer, full-stack developer, software tester, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college has two labs with air-conditioners and computers with an internet connection. Classrooms are limited and not satisfactory. There are only 63 beds for 4000 boys. The library has old edition books and has no use in the technical field.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified but do not know how to teach students. The course curriculum is not relevant to the industry standards. It is difficult to pass the semester exams because students have many backlogs. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I took admission to this college as I did not get a good result in WBJEE. Few exams should be conducted in our course. More importance should be given to practical knowledge. Students of our college get government-affiliated scholarships.
