RTU is one of the worst colleges in Rajasthan and a stain on the Indian education system.
Placements: Very bad placement states in recent years. Only a handful of students, like 20- 25 percent, get placed. The median package is 3 LPA or something like that. In the last placement drive, children from CSE didn't get placement, not even a single one.
Infrastructure: The hostel and food are not okay. You have a problem with a bathroom clog and bathroom leakage. Proper cleaning is not maintained in the hostel and bathroom. Water tanks are not cleaned properly. The mess in-charge, Subhash, takes bribes and uses students' funds for his personal welfare.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable. But they are not helpful. They just come and complete their Attendance and teach us with low energy. Many classes are not held properly. The syllabus is still in the backlog. Physics faculty GP Joshi yake bribed students with Rs. 5000 for clearing back, and he gave students back even after scoring to earn money.
Other: Don't go to this college. It has a system of caste groups that will spoil your college life. People of other castes will interact with you less and never. Caste gang wars happen all around. The mess hygiene was bad. Academics were bad. The only thing that is good is the college entry road, and nothing else.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2029

Good placements, supportive faculty, and decent campus life.
Placements: I am from the B.Tech CSE (2029 batch). Placements are decent if you have good coding skills and maintain your CGPA. Around 70% of students get placed every year. The highest package is around 44 LPA, and the average package is close to 6 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, and Amazon visit the campus. Many students also get internship opportunities before final placements. Most students are offered roles like Software Engineer, QA Engineer, SDE, and Analyst.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. Computer labs have all the basic software needed for practical work, and classrooms are clean. The library is useful for studying. Wi-Fi is available in most areas. Hostel rooms are okay, and security is also good. Mess food is average, sometimes good, and sometimes not. The canteen has better options at reasonable prices. Sports facilities are also available. Medical help is provided whenever required. Overall, I am satisfied with facilities.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and explain topics properly if you attend classes regularly. Some faculty members are really supportive, while a few depend more on presentations. The syllabus covers the basics, but students should also learn extra skills like coding and projects on their own. Semester exams are not very difficult if you study regularly. Internal marks also help, so the overall pass percentage is quite good.
Other: I chose CSE because I am interested in the IT field and it offers good career opportunities. College life is enjoyable because of technical events, cultural fests, and different clubs. The campus crowd is decent. There are scholarship options for eligible students. I think the college should focus more on industry projects, better internship opportunities, and more practical learning so students get better exposure before placements.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Lateral Entry) - Batch of 2028

Review of Poornima College of Engineering by its own student.
Placements: Only CS students get more placements. Other branches' students don’t get many placement chances because of a lack of companies. ECE and Electrical students don’t get that many placement offers. In ECE, you can be one of three types of engineers: VLSI, Embedded, Satellite, and Communication.
Infrastructure: The classroom is good, but there is no AC or ducting. Hostels are okay, while the mess is neither bad nor good. The campus size is very small. There is only one volleyball ground. There is no other ground. The hostels are strict, and they don’t allow first-year students off campus for the first 3 months.
Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is good. It is not that difficult to pass the exam if you study a little bit. You don’t need too much to pass the exam, but there are a lot of assignments you need to do. Some teachers are egoistic, so it is better to avoid them.
Other: I want AC in classrooms. I want a free class daily. The college timing is too long.

Overall a good engineering college.
Placements: The college provides placement opportunities through campus recruitment and many students get placed in reputed companies. The placement cell helps students with training, aptitude preparation and interview skills to improve their career opportunities.
Infrastructure: SBCET has good infrastructure with clean classrooms, well-equipped labs, a library, and wi-fi facilities. The hostel is comfortable, good for studying and living. A positive college experience. Good campus life and academic. It is best.
Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful in academics. The curriculum is well structured and covers important concepts of the course. Exams are conducted fairly and the difficulty level is moderate for students who have studied the required material.
Other: I am happy with my college experience. The college provides a good learning environment, supportive teachers, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. It is a good place for students to build their future.

Reality of Jaipur Engineering College, Kukas.
Placements: The placement history of JEC University was decent for Computer Science and its affiliated branches. Roughly 85% of the eligible candidates were placed in their graduation year through campus recruitment. The highest package offered was 52 LPA. The average package was 6.8-7.3 LPA. Some of the popular recruiters were Microsoft, Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, Cognizant, and Deloitte. Students received many internships in software engineering, data analysis, AI/ML, and consulting services through the training and placement cell of JEC.
Infrastructure: Well-furnished labs, computer centers, smart classrooms, and Wi-Fi were available. Also, a library with an extensive range of books and journals were available in the Engineering Department of Jaipur Engineering College. There were satisfactory hostel facilities that included internet access and other basic amenities in comfortable rooms. Mess and canteen offered decent food with a variety of options. Students could avail themselves of medical facilities on the college campus. They also participate in various sports such as cricket, football, basketball, and badminton.
Faculty: At Jaipur Engineering College, majority of teachers were qualified, knowledgeable, and cooperative. They were always help students with their studies and project work. The quality of education provided was quite good because both theory and practical training were imparted. In the case of B.Tech, according to Rajasthan Technical University rules, a proper course was designed for students that included all major industry-related topics. However, more practical exposure by students was required before entering the industry.
Other: The main reason I opted for the B.Tech course was my passion for technology, programming, and problem-solving. Along with the excellent prospects associated with the IT industry. The greatest features of this course included practical education. The variety of technical fields taught and the placement opportunities provided. At the same time, I felt that more industry-related education, live projects, and internships could have been integrated into the program to make it better. Technical, cultural, and fun activities were held at JEC to keep students engaged on campus. It had a pleasant student community, easy access to Jaipur city, and scholarship opportunities.

Not so much interesting. It is worse than school life.
Placements: Maybe 30-40 percent of students got placed with less than 5 LPA package and others are unemployed. No one is happy with this placements and many of the students have no skills to get the placement. The college wants only money for every small thing and wants only money.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available with no internet. Classrooms are good. The library is so small. They need to improve all of this on the campus and require better teachers and they force the students to do everything like courses, fees, and many more. They need to improve everything and think about the future of everyone.
Faculty: Mostly teachers are B.Sc. graduates and they did not give practical training. They come to the classroom, read the topic, and then they go. 2-3 teachers are good to explain and some teachers are B.Tech graduates who teach the students are the best.
Other: They need to improve everything just like fests, hostel food, labs with proper instruments, etc.
