Yes you can get admission in RGIPT if your class 12th marks are 60%. I’m giving you below the eligibility criteria for admission in RGIPT.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Admission will be based on JEE (Advanced) or JEE (Main) with 80% aggregate in Class 12.
- During preparation of merit list, preference will be given to students who have qualified JEE (Advanced).
- Minimum 60% in aggregate (55% for SC/ST) in Class 12* in case of JEE (Advanced).
- *The criteria of 60% in Class 12 is waived-off for current year (2022–23) only for JEE (Advanced) qualified students.
Reservation policy as per the Government of India directive will be followed. In addition, following the GOI directive and to encourage technical education among the girls, 17% of the seats will be reserved for female candidates on supernumerary basis over the current strength. The certificate for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD/EWS must be submitted in the specified format during time of admission.
Rajiv Gandhi University offers two M.Tech specializations for engineering aspirants, with a total intake of 18 students for each specialization. The specializations available are M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admission to these M.Tech courses is based on the GATE exam, and the annual tuition fee for each course is INR 68,030. The duration of the M.Tech courses is 2 years.
To be eligible, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate score of 60% or equivalent CGPA, and a valid GATE score.
