    I’m absolutely going to recommend Ravenshaw University for higher studies and a bright future.
    Placements: Many passed-out students and seniors of our college got placements in very famous companies because Ravenshaw University provides the best study support as required for a student. Top companies are Tata, Microsoft, and Deloitte. Our college also has NCC in Navy wing, Party, and Battalion wing, so any interested students who want to join NCC can join it. This will help them in their future.
    Infrastructure: All the hostel facilities are so nice, and also the staff and caretakers of the hostel are so humble and well-behaved. Hostel hygiene is maintained properly and very well. The food is well cooked, and the cafeteria is also very nice. The games and sports facilities and opportunities are vast here. We have free Ravenshaw University Wi-Fi everywhere.
    Faculty: Every faculty member here is very educated and well-behaved. Their teaching quality is so nice. Our semester exams are conducted smoothly, and the pass percentage is 100%. When our semester exams are conducted, every staff and faculty member is very supportive. Even in cultural programs or sports, our teachers help us in studies and make sure to clear all our doubts.
    Other: I chose B.Com because it is one of the best departments of Ravenshaw University, and I have an interest in business. Likewise, Ravenshaw University provides the best for me. Even in Ravenshaw, we get so many scholarship opportunities.

    The perks of studying at Ravenshaw University.
    Placements: It is worthwhile to say that the edifice of the college stands on the firm substratum of its reputation for producing high-quality graduates who add value to society. The average package provided to students completing their undergraduate program in Commerce is around 1.5 LPA, with recruiters including companies like TCS, Deloitte, EY, Mahindra, etc. The Department of Commerce also provides links to many valuable internship programs for students, which are indeed beneficial and make them industry-ready to a significant extent. This course offers roles in marketing, finance, management, sales, etc.
    Infrastructure: We have a computer lab in the Department of Commerce, and the college has two gigantic libraries, namely The Kanika Library and Centenary Library, located in front of it. Libraries offer free Wi-Fi, which can be used by all students. The Kanika Library is said to have the largest book collection in the state of Odisha. Moreover, classrooms have green boards as well as smart boards.
    Faculty: All faculty members have qualified for the NET exam and are well-versed in their subjects, having a good hold on the subjects that they teach. The course curriculum is relevant, as it not only provides theoretical knowledge but also offers a practical view of real-world things. Hence, a good internship, along with diligent pursuit of this course, can be truly rewarding for the students.
    Other: The best thing about the course is that it involves practical subjects like Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Statistics, Business & Corporate Law, Tax Law, GST, and Indirect Tax, and many more, which indeed equip a student with the knowledge and skill set necessary to excel in the job industry and also provide the requisite knowledge to start and run one's own enterprise. The emphasis is on making a student both job-ready and enterprising as well.

    Placements: Every year, recruiters from many companies, like ICICI Bank, EY, Accenture, etc., visit Ravenshaw University to recruit fresh graduates. Looking at the figures, 60% of the total number of students easily get the opportunity to be placed in their interested domains.
    Infrastructure: Ravenshaw University is also known as the Red Empire in Odisha because of its red-colored campus buildings. The university has two libraries and one e-resource center. Whenever people talk about the infrastructure of Ravenshaw University, they mention the Seven Pillars of Wisdom.
    Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified teachers with appreciable personalities and strong abilities. Most of them are gold medalists in their respective subjects. But, to be honest, there are some vacancies in the commerce department, and we hope in some time they will be filled.
    Other: When it comes to events, hostel boarders organize an annual function every year.

    Great environment with the best opportunities to develop your winning skills.
    Placements: The minimum percentage for placements is above 70%. The highest package is 12 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Bajaj and Wipro are the best companies that offer placements. At least 63% of students got placements. The top role offered is a finance manager. 58% of students got internships.
    Infrastructure: We have total 15 hostel girls and boys We have one liabary one cafeteria and 2 auditorium and also an gym In my department classroom strength was 300 and it's a smart class We do have Wi-Fi connection Hostel are very hygeine and clean Mess food is affordable and tasty Sports function and events are organised by ravenshaw .
    Faculty: Students teachers have a beautiful bond between them Teacher are highly qualified The things that I don't like is that in our department teacher show little flavour towards the section A and B in our section C only Ph.D. student of ravenshaw are sign to teach us Professor and lecture only teach at section A and B.
    Other: We have a total of 15 hostels for girls and boys. We have a library, cafeteria, 2 auditoriums, and a gym. In my department, the classroom strength is 300. We have a smart class and a Wi-Fi connection. The hostel is very hygienic and clean. The mess food is affordable and tasty. Sports functions and events are organised by Ravenshaw University.

    Great infrastructure and social life.
    Placements: Ravenshaw University offers good placement opportunities for freshers. Many well-known companies try to hire their future employees from here. Some of the top recruiters are Accenture, EY, TCS, Deloitte, Axis Bank, etc. The average starting package for freshers is about 3.5 LPA.
    Infrastructure: I really like the infrastructure, considering it is a government institution. There is every facility available for the students. There is an ATMA huge ground for every sport, an indoor stadium for indoor games, there is a gym, and the classrooms are huge with smart boards; there is also a huge central library with a great collection of books. Every department has its own Wi-Fi, which is free to use.
    Faculty: The faculty is amazing; they are very knowledgeable and experienced. Their way of teaching makes the topic more interesting and easy to learn. They provide excellent information and guidance even in fields other than academics. There are 2 examinations in a semester: one is mid-sem, and the other one is end-sem. Mid-sem is also known as internals, and the end-sem is the final exam of a semester.
    Other: There are a lot of functions and events hosted by many different hostels and departments very often. This makes the social life great, and one can easily make new friends and connections by attending these events.

    Why Ravenshaw may be your ideal start for your B.Com?
    Placements: Almost 65-70% students were placed who SAT for the company placements. The highest package was 4 Lacs, the lowest was 2.5 Lacs, and the average was between 3-3.5 Lacs. Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, and some banking and insurance sector companies too came for placement. Students who did not pursue higher studies got internships in various companies; almost 60% students who were serious, and their companies were TCS, Bharti AXA, Deloitte, etc. Top roles were sales assistant, work management, analysis, and audit.
    Infrastructure: Facilities are adequate and above expectation. There is nothing to complain about, be it the hostel, departments, or grounds. Wi-Fi facility in both the hostel and department, labs being present in science and computer labs in others. Classrooms are spacious and clean, and adequate maintenance is done. The college library is big with 2 parts, and there are libraries in hostels too. All other facilities like food in the canteen and hostel mess are very good compared to other colleges, the best among which is the East hostel. Medical facilities are also very good, with SCB Medical College very near to the campus. There is a very big playground for cricket, football, basketball, and others.
    Faculty: The teachers were very knowledgeable and have come from very good colleges and universities after clearing very prestigious exams like CMA, CS, PGDCA, NET, etc. They are always ready to help. I must say that graduation may make you industry-ready but not fully fledged; you have to work in various organizations to gain experience or do higher studies. The difficulty of semester exams is a little higher than moderate, but with good preparation, one can excel in those exams, and the pass percentage is above 95%.
    Other: I had chosen commerce in my higher secondary, so for that, I thought B.Com would be better for me to pursue, and I personally like commerce subjects, be it economics, business, human resource, finance, and obviously accounting. The best thing about this course is that the world is gaining an understanding of finance with time and knowing the value of B.Com rather than only taking science seriously, and many jobs are coming up for the commerce sector. I suggest removing some subjects which are of less value to a commerce student and adding some more valuable subjects. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are in frequent terms and highly active.
