Magnificent library open 24/7 with a cafeteria.
Placements: After the completion of 9 semesters, students join the internship programme in which they are paid Rs. 30000 per month, following which students must clear another entrance exam to the PG seats. The highest package offered varies with the choice of course and is not fixed, but all the candidates earn 12 times higher than the national average salary. Usually, 100% placement is provided. My plan is to pursue an MD in any of the medicine and allied subjects.
Infrastructure: In the first and second year, you get a double-sharing room, but from the third year to the final year, you get a single room. The facilities provided in the rooms are bed, a study table, a cupboard, free electricity, water, and a private attached bathroom (with a geyser). The best part is the washing machines provided on every floor. Also, a water cooler is available on every floor. You are also allowed to modify rooms at your choice.
Faculty: My main objective was to excel in medicine and surgery, so choosing MBBS was the right choice. We are given clinical postings from the 2nd year, which helps us build a good doctor-patient relationship and improve our communication skills. The things that I would like to improve on would be including less theoretical knowledge and more practical knowledge. The exams are conducted well in time with sufficient study leaves before the exam.

There is OPD and exposure to patients on a daily basis, and case presentations.
Placements: We have to do internships in our own college since OPD is here only. It includes 7-8 hours of jobs along with weekly to monthly subject change and exposure. Medicine, surgery, orthopedics, radiology, dermatology, and all postings are there. The salary offered for interns is around Rs. 30,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The hostel has great and spacious rooms, which are very well-maintained. Cupboard, mattress, study table, bed, ergonomic chair, a show track, along with a shared bathroom for first years and attached for second onwards are provided. Rooms are double sharing for the first year and single after that. Everything is very well maintained. Mess food is good with four meals a day and regular quality checks. Registration is very straightforward and included in the admission process.
Faculty: The course curriculum is approved by a committee, and being one of the most prestigious colleges in India, it is undoubtedly up to the mark. Lots of practical classes and dissection sessions with plenty of clinical questions being regularly discussed. There are fun activities along with great hospital exposure, which prepare us very well for the real world.

College is so relevant and wonderful.
Placements: About 8% of students are placed in this college. The highest package is 30 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. After MBBS, the PG course is offered as a premium for my course, for which we have to take an entrance examination to pass the PG.
Infrastructure: The college offers a well-defined infrastructure, and there are several labs for practical experiments, Wi-Fi, and well-equipped classrooms for studying. The quality of the mess and hostels for accommodation is very well planned and hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful for teaching and research purposes. They are well qualified and knowledgeable, teaching the course very practically and in a detailed way. This course is very relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are very easy, and the passing marks are 33%.

Great campus with fresh buildings, greenery, fresh air, outside the city.
Placements: Internships have to be within NSCB itself, and a lot of experience is gained by spending time in different departments of the hospital. The stipend is around Rs. 30,000 per month. You have to interact with patients, listen to them carefully, and give them a diagnosis just like a real doctor. This also helps build interaction skills.
Infrastructure: Students get a double room in the first year and a single room from the second year. The hostel rooms have a bed, a wardrobe, a study table, a comfortable chair, and a side table. The rooms are well-lit. The hostel's safety is well maintained by the security guards. The hostel fee is included in the total college fees of Rs. 5856 for 5.5 years, so there’s no need to pay separately. The mess fee as of now is Rs. 4300/month. The package includes 4 meals a day, i.e., breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. The food quality is good.
Faculty: MBBS, as they say, is not a joke. It is no doubt one of the most difficult courses in India. All the studies and hard work seem to be worth it when the patient thanks you and leaves the hospital cured and smiling. The exams of the MBBS course are of a moderate difficulty level, and consistency is the key to passing all exams. After completing MBBS, students appear for the NEET PG exam, which is yet another challenge in a medico's life, but with consistency, hard work, and smart work, even cracking NEET PG is possible.

First of all, the college or hospital has a lot of case loads which gives an amazing opportunity.
Placements: There was a mandatory internship in MBBS for 12 months, in which you had to go in different departments such as surgery, medicine, obs gynae, derma, ortho, etc., for variable period of time. It offered a great deal of knowledge regarding various medical procedures, patient interaction, and their medical conditions. During the internship, you had to do sampling, catheterization, various medical procedures, and a lot of file work.
Infrastructure: Life in medical college was full of ups and downs, and was quite thrilling. At times, you will be enjoying your life to the full and at other times, you will be studying many sleepless nights but it was quite amazing. You will find many great people and friends for a lifetime.
Faculty: Faculty members were very senior and renowned doctors in the city and had very high qualifications. Most of them had done their super-specialty courses and published their papers. Faculty-to-student ratio was like 1:180 but most of the time the attendance was not full so it was roughly around 1:130 or 1:140. The method of teaching varied according to teachers. There were both theory classes as well as practical classes, and posting in different departments according to the proof. Most of them use PPT for good understanding.
Other: In our college, there were not many festivals celebrated but an annual gathering was held. It was conducted for around 15 to 20 days, which were some of the best days.
