Indore Institute of Law conducts entrance exam scores on various levels to take up candidates into the BA LLB (Hons) programme. The main entrance exam is taken as the Indore Institute of Law Entrance Test (IILET), for which 70% of seat intake is done. Besides this, the institute also accepts national-level entrance exams, such as CLAT and LSAT India, which account for 20% of total seats. Another 10% are granted on the basis of merit in Class 12 exam marks. The aspirants looking for admission to the institute should have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate mark of 60%.

Indore Institute of Law in Indore has an intake capacity of 30 students for LLM course. However, the institute offers a two-year LLM program. The eligibility criteria for admission to the LLM program at the institute require candidates to have an undergraduate degree with 55% aggregate. The total tuition fees for the LLM program are INR 1.14 lakh for the entire duration of the course, which is 2 years and the annual fees for the LLM program are INR 30,000.
The distribution of all BBA LLB (Hons) seats at the Indore Institute of Law is completely based on the merit of the entrance examination. The intake shall be strictly based on the score obtained in the IIILET; however, a minimum prescribed number of seats shall be reserved for candidates who have appeared in CLAT/LSAT India.
