Excellent placement records, highly supportive facilities, and top-tier labs.

Placements: Around 80–95% of students are placed this year in my branch. The highest package is 36 LPA, the lowest is 6.7 LPA, and the average is 8–9 LPA. Companies include TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. Roles offered include AI/ML Engineer, Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Trainee, etc.

Infrastructure: The department infrastructure is well-equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. All types of labs and workshops are available in the college. The hostel has good infrastructure and good mess food. Facilities are well-educated and provide better guidance for future goals.

Faculty: Faculty and teaching staff are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and always willing to help students with doubts or projects. The curriculum is updated from time to time according to trends. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty and are designed to test scores.

Good infrastructure but wrong student mindset. It has a negative environment.

Placements: Honestly, tech companies barely show up. It's mostly sales, BPO, and HR roles coming to campus. Only about 30-35% of students got placed through college, but if you count off-campus, it's around 60%+. The highest package was 96.5 LPA, the lowest is 92.4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 93.8 LPA. Top recruiters are like Concentrix, TCS, and Accenture, but they offer only non-tech roles. Internships are not offered through the college. Maybe 15-20% of students do internships. That too in sales or HR. So, if you're aiming for a tech job, don't rely on campus and start your off-campus hustle early.

Infrastructure: In CDGI, hostel is very good every week. The management organises games and events at night also. But the food is not good. The library has a decent collection of books and study materials for students. The infrastructure of the college is good. Our college provides all the facilities required. Classrooms on campus are spacious and well-maintained. All the laboratories are equipped with the necessary equipment for practical sessions.The hostel facilities are good. Hostel environment is safe, clean, and comfortable.

Faculty: Exams are difficult. Students who attend classes regularly and study consistently can pass without much difficulty. The overall pass percentage is quite good for sincere students. But there is a 75% attendance rule, which is very bad because of this, students join other coding institutions as they feel pressured.

Other: The college is good in terms of facilities and education. The main issue is that many students come from villages and are not very interested in self-improvement or career growth. Most of them focus only on their local lifestyle and farming background. This creates a less competitive and growth-focused environment.

Knowledgeable faculty members, but the college needs infrastructure development.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in my Bachelor of Pharmacy course is around 12-20% in the batch. The highest package offered by companies in my course is 3 LPA. The lowest package is 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Cipla and Macleods. Around 20% of students got internships at companies like Macleods. The roles offered in this course are in the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in my department are very good. There is a high-speed Wi-Fi setup, modern classrooms, and an advanced library. However, the quality of food in the canteen is not very good. It is located quite far from the campus. Medical facilities are good. The sports auditorium and game facilities are also very nice. Hostel facilities, however, are not very good.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified with Master's and Ph.D. degrees, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. Students gain practical knowledge, making them industry-ready. The semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage in my batch is around 30% because the exams are conducted by Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV).

Other: Bachelor of Pharmacy is an affordable course, and I chose it because it has good job opportunities. The practical knowledge aspect is strong, but infrastructure and lab facilities need improvement. Every year, Techno Fest is organized in the college. Scholarships of around Rs. 30,000 are given to students.

I like the infrastructure and the bus service of the college.

Placements: The students are eligible for campus placements from their 2nd year or at the end of the 4th semester. The college has its own placement training cell, which helps students face the challenges of the selection process. The highest package offered was 46.71 LPA by Gitpod. The average placement is around 5–8 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college does not have its own hostel. Students have to live in PGs or private hostels. In these hostels, a tiffin system is available, where breakfast and dinner are provided by service providers. Charges are paid monthly. The rates for tiffin services start from Rs. 1,600–Rs. 3,000 per month depending on the quality of food. The average rent for a PG or rooms is around Rs. 1,800–Rs. 2,500 per month.

Faculty: Courses offered include Engineering branches like Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical. Management students can choose fields like Marketing, Human Resources, and Finance. Faculty members are well educated and selected based on experience and knowledge in their field. Exams are conducted promptly according to the university schedule.

Overall the experience is too good in this college.

Placements: Highest package is 11 LPA and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. The college campus is good. The company does a campus drive and selects students. Many of the students gets internship the students who get 8.0 plus SGPA they got internship low percentage can also get it.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is too good. The library is big and good. The hostel and mess are too good. The cafeteria is huge. The sports ground is good for the department overall worth it and a good institute for local degrees and value for money.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide support to all students. There is the one problem with the assignment you have to do assignments but there is no value in them they don't even check. I think but apart from this everything is fine.

Other: I chose BOM because I want to do an MBA from another college and need a graduation degree. The events conducted by VITS are too good.

Honest review of Oriental College of Technology (2nd campus of OIST).

Placements: The percentage is very low. Around 15% of students get selected for MNCs like TCS. The college has a high eligibility criterion of around 8.5+ CGPA. For TCS, only the top 50 students are allowed to take the test. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, and IBM. The roles offered are mainly in Data Science and related fields. Internships are provided, but the eligibility criteria are an 8.5 CGPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. Wi-Fi is available for every computer. Labs are very good. In the hostel, food quality is not good, but Wi-Fi is available for students. The library is very good, with thousands of books, and provides a quiet place for studying. Water facilities in the hostel are also good.

Faculty: In the first year, faculty is really good and teaches well. From the second year, classes are not well organized. Many teachers tend to skip classes. Labs are not very useful as faculty members. They do not have strong coding knowledge, especially in recent years. They do not teach properly in labs from the second year onwards. Semester exams are very easy. The pass percentage is 33%.

Other: The main campus of this college is quite good. Do not get fooled by people saying placements are the same at both campuses. They are not. The main campus (OIST) is much better, with a better campus environment and teachers.
