A good college for those who rank above 70,000 in KCET.
Placements: The placement department is good, although they do not bring many companies. This year, the highest package for engineering is 33 LPA.
Infrastructure: In the hostels, hot water sometimes does not come. The head of the hostel department is the worst, but the others are good. Sometimes the food is average, and the fees are too high for facilities provided. It is better to stay outside the hostel. Facilities are not maintained properly.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. They interact with students at any time and are supportive. It has been a great experience for me to have such kind teachers. Students are also prepared for the industry level. The pass percentage in semester exams is above 95%.
Other: Two big events are organized in the second year. Both are conducted well and are enjoyable. Overall, the college atmosphere is good. I am an engineering student at East Point in the IoT department. Facilities are very good.

Placements: This college of good for physiotherapy. They are providing postings and internships during the study period in the course. They also provide practical and internals.
Infrastructure: Our college provides one of the best hostels in this area. They are providing Wi-Fi and homely food for students. If you want to do part time, job they will give permission to go. Such type of college hostel you may no get in entire Bengaluru. It is one of the best hostel in Bengaluru.
Faculty: Here, teachers are helpful for studies. They are qualified and hold Masters degrees. They give their knowledge to us. For exams, they conduct exam trips and are supportive. In this college, teachers are the best. They teach us very well than other colleges. Teaching is better and teachers are very friendly with students. They help you with everything.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be doctor.

BIMS Belagavi is the second-top emerging medical college in Karnataka.
Placements: BIMS is the second-top emerging government medical college in Karnataka. Many high-ranking students get admitted to the college, with an All India Rank under 2,000 in the general category. For other categories, the rank may vary up to 1 lakh. BIMS has produced an All India Rank 8 holder in NEET PG.
Infrastructure: There are three boys' hostels. Two are new and are for first- and second-year students, while one is old and is for students in other years. There is one girls' hostel. The in-time for girls is 8 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30 p.m. on weekends. The mess food is good and edible. There is a library full of books and a study room that is open 24/7 throughout the year. There is also a small sports ground.
Faculty: The first-year teachers are great. From the second year onward, the quality of teaching declines, and students have to study on their own. This happens in every college. The curriculum follows the RGUHS pattern. There are three internal exams in a year and one professional exam. The pass percentage is 98–100%.
Other: The best thing about the college is the anatomy dissection, as we have the maximum number of cadavers in Karnataka. The campus is small and decent. It is located in the centre of the city, making everything easily accessible. There are three main fests in the college, Ganesh Chaturthi, freshers' events, and convocation. Other minor events include Teachers' Day, Karnataka Rajyotsava, etc.

Dissatisfied due to infrastructure, faculty members, and hostel, but placement are good.
Placements: They give internship placements for all the students. Our junior course package is 8.5 LPA. Ours is 7.2 LPA for the whole course. Our students get internship placements, some get in Hyderabad, and for some, it's Maharashtra Surabhi Hospital. Like that, there is no particular hospital for internship. Even though they give internship placements, we can't be sure about the quality the hospital provides. It varies for hospitals and places. Our college offers a BLS programme.
Infrastructure: Only 7 classrooms are there; 5 are usable. Labs are there, but that's it, no facilities are available in those labs, just some broken mannequins and some rusted equipment. We have a library, a small one, but okay. Wi-Fi is there, which is good, and a hostel. Each room has at least 6 people. No attached bathroom. Even though there are 6–7 toilets and 7–8 bathrooms, only one toilet is usable, and 3 bathrooms are usable. It's dirty, too. And food is worse, no quality, no taste. They just provide something to eat, that's it. Sports events are there.
Faculty: One teacher is good. Others, I don't even know if they are qualified or not. I don't think they have any idea about what they are teaching. It's so boring. I don't have any idea about the course curriculum, but there is a syllabus book which is useful for us. It has topics, not content, but it's great if you wish to study by yourself.
Other: My course is B.Sc. Nursing; it is actually a very good course. I choose this course because I want to save lives and for career growth. For improving my course, I suggest reducing theory classes and giving more practical classes. Practical classes are far better for the future (for jobs) as we are not going to answer questions there, what we need most in a hospital is practical skills.

An adequate government medical college.
Placements: It is a government medical college, and an internship is compulsory after completion of 4.5 years. It lasts for 1 year. However the stipend is around Rs. 30,000 which may not justify the work that's expected of you. You will be posted in all the departments and will learn a lot from each of them. You can pursue a junior residence post-internship as well.
Infrastructure: The institution has good infrastructure, including a college building, 3 hospital buildings, and 3 hostel buildings. The college has 4 lecture halls and is well-equipped. Every department has its own labs and demo rooms, and they are decently equipped. The anatomy dissection hall is good, and the student-to-cadaver ratio is healthy with 15 to 20 students per cadaver. The hospital also has adequate demo rooms for case discussions and clinical teaching.
Faculty: All the teachers are well respected and qualified. Most departments teach well with regular theory classes, practicals, and clinical rotations. The course is definitely relevant and will acquaint the student with the medical field and help them realise the department they would want to specialize in. The college exams are of a medium difficulty level, and university exams are not hard to pass as long as the student has done the basic things expected of them.
Other: MBBS is a demanding course, and anyone planning to get in should think carefully and be sure that this is the life they want. I wouldn't change anything about the course since it is required to make a healthy doctor. The college does have an annual fest, and there are numerous events throughout the year. There are clubs that you can join like sports, cultural, literary, eco club, and Kannada Sangha. NSS activities are conducted throughout the year as well.

It has good academics, skill labs, great patient inflow.
Placements: 10 percent of the students get junior residency in this college, which has the highest ranking. Salary is Rs. 35000 per month. Junior residency is in the same teaching hospital and not anywhere else. Placements are not available in this college, as it is an MBBS course. Instead, they offer a 1-year internship. If you have more marks and are among the top 15 in your batch, then they offer a junior residency position, but most of them opt for higher studies like NEET PG preparation, and only if they don't get in it, then they opt for junior residency.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is average but when it comes to hostels, there are 3 buildings. One is for 4th-year MBBS, the 2nd is for only interns, and the 3rd is for only PG students. The building in which 1st-4th year students reside is not at all good. 50 percent of rooms are full of fungus. Water is available only for 4 hours throughout the day, so we have to store it in drums. There is no hot water generator. There is no shortage of electricity. But Wi-Fi is not available. The mess is in another building from the hostel. We have to travel 3 times a day for food. It has a poor hostel and food with below-average rooms with fungus.
Faculty: Pass percentage is 50 percent. Exams are the most stressful and difficult part of college life. Teachers are well-talented and qualified, but a lack of proper time to manage patients in the hospital and students in college makes it difficult to provide proper education. It prepares students for practice by conducting ECLS skill labs for students.
