At Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, they have started accepting applications for the academic year 2023-24. If you want to join any course there, you need to take a test called CATET, organized by the state government of Uttar Pradesh. The deadline to apply for this test was June 30, 2023. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology is situated in Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2002. It offers various courses like BTech, Mtech, M.Sc, M.V.Sc, B.Sc., B.V.Sc. The duration of these courses varies from 2-5 years depending upon the course like wise the fee also varies. B.E or B.Tech fees varies from 92 Lakh to 1.5 lakh pa. Bsc course fees is 69 k and BVSC course fees is upto 4 LPA. The eligibility to take admission in any of these courses are 10+2 with minimum 50 percent aggregate.

ICAR AIEEA is required to get admission in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology. However, candidates can also get admission without ICAR AIEEA score if they qualify UPCATET. The UP Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test  (UPCATET) is a combined-level entrance exam held to offer admission for different UG and PG programmes. It is an offline exam conducted once in a year. 

UPCATET is a state level exam conducted by Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology. The counseling for the UG courses in SVPUAT will be conducted by UPCATET especially in Agriculture, Economics & Mgmt.

Eligibility: For admission to the B.Tech. (Biotechnology), the candidate must have completed 10+2 level in PCB/ PCMB with English as a subject along with 50% aggregate.
