B.Tech. in Sugarcane Science and Technology - Batch of 2028
4.2

I am dissatisfied with sports facilities.
Placements: Recently, the course of B.Tech. in Sugarcane Science and Technology has been started. A new batch is admitted. We can't tell exactly about placements as a fresher. About 50 students took admission in the past 2 years, and 2 batches are there. We are hoping for more admissions further.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are awesome. The hostel is kind of average. Facilities are provided, but not up to standard. A sports stadium is available. A hospital is there, but it is not of high standards. Sports facilities are disappointing as it does not provide equipment. The hospital is available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Especially new faculty members are kind and more responsive to everything. Old faculty members and professors are not bothered about taking classes, but are very nice to everyone and helpful as well. Semester exams are quite difficult.
Other: Campus life will be awesome if a group of friends is there rather than roaming around on campus with a partner. Scholarships are provided for UP residents. It conducts extracurricular activities like culture fests and a freshers' party. Sports tournaments are held at the university. Inter-college competitions have also commenced.

B.Tech. in Food Technology - Batch of 2028
4.6
4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Good infrastructure, facilities, and friendly faculty members are provided in the college.
Placements: Admission to this university is based on the entrance exams like UPCATET and CUET ICAR. The cut-off is made on the marks of these exams. On the basis of marks, the course is allotted to the students according to their scores in the exam. There are no on-campus placements in B.Tech food technology till now but it is expected that in some years, there will be recruiters as now, it is accredited with NAAC A grade. The lowest package is 5 LPA and the highest package is 25 LPA.
Infrastructure: All the classes are well-maintained with smart board and availability of Wi-Fi. There are good quality labs for practical knowledge. Central library is also present where all types of books, journals, magazines, research papers, and newspapers are present for all students. The availability of the hostel is also good. Good food is served in the mess. There is a canteen, juice corners, and stationery shops inside the university. There is a university hospital for immediate treatment of students. Sports and games ground is also present with a gym, badminton court and table tennis.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified in their fields. All the faculty members are supportive, friendly, and available to solve doubts every time. They try to understand topics clearly with visuals and PPTs. They all are knowledgeable and teach in both English and Hindi languages. The quality of teaching is awesome. The course curriculum is relevant here. We learn about all things that are required for the food industry and necessary in the future food industry, innovative ideas, food reservation and its safety, hygiene, rules and regulations by FSSAI. All things help to make them ready for industry.
Other: I always wanted to learn something unique and the food industry is one of the rapidly developing industries due to packing food, so I chose this course. There is a huge opportunity for growth. All the things are up to the mark in the course and they take students for a visit to the food industry regularly to get exposure to the real industry. Events are organised in the college like foundation day, kisan mela, freshers party, and farewell. Scholarships are provided to the financially weaker students.

B.Tech. in Dairy Technology - Batch of 2028

University life is the best life.
Placements: There are a total of 44 spaces for students in our class. The highest package of our college is 5 LPA. Some of the students also got self-placements. The most important roles offered by our course are food officer, safety officer, day technology, and day engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our colleges gives an ancient look which mainly attracts most of the students. The campus is filled with greenery which creates a very friendly environment. The hostel is also very affordable and provides every important or required facility for a student.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are impressive and very friendly to track with students and provide much more information about the exams under the course their teaching in US. The curriculum is also based in a very frequent manner. Exams are being taken regularly. They cut the guidelines of the government as it is a government college.
Other: I chose this as I want to pursue my career in the daily industry over the food industry and I can improve my efficiency here. Events, the campus crowd, and connectivity are also very good. Most of the students get good scholarships. They get a refund. There is a free scholarship form.

Review of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology.
Placements: Many students opt for higher education in the same field, and many students get industrial jobs in Amul, Parag, Nestled, etc. I do not know about the highest or average package, but it was good. 2 internships are provided to students in a span of 4 years, one in 2nd semester and another in the last semester.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite nice. It has all the essential items, equipment, machines, and tools needed for an efficient laboratory and campus. Facilities in the hostel are good too. Sports equipment is provided for badminton, chess, table tennis, carrom, etc. The cost is also minimal.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in terms of knowledge of their discipline. Most of them are from remarkable institutes like NDRI, Karnal. It is the number 1 institute of dairy technology and sciences. Exams are quite challenging or I would say very hectic because there is so much to do.
Other: My batch is currently in the first year and it is been going well till now for all my batchmates. Campus life is nice. The lush green beauty of our campus is just amazing. Many events and competitions are also organised at the university. Sports meet is also conducted.

You can achieve more from this.
Placements: There were no placement cells in our college. None of the students got placed till then, not even in the last 4 years when I was there. No company visited during that time. However, one thing was that the internships were done very sincerely. It was the only thing that was in the hands of the students, whether they wanted to do it with their professor or off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was quite good, and the college looked very brilliant. The lighting also looked pretty at night. The center of attraction was our central library, which was very huge. The condition of our indoor stadium was not so good, but the machines in the gym were fine. The university stadium was also very huge.
Faculty: It was the only thing you were going to miss after your degree.
Other: In this university, biotechnology stood at number three. The first was veterinary, followed by agriculture, and then biotechnology. It was very obvious to me that I wanted this particular course because I was interested in it for improvement. I would say there should have been better faculty for teaching because the professors had vast knowledge, but they were not good in terms of teaching. The sports event, also known as Spardha, was the only time when the college became one unit and competed with other colleges for the overall champions' trophy. The cultural events were also good, could expect mime, debates, quizzes, skits, singing, dance, etc.

University has good infrastructure but lacks facilities like professors and labs for UG.
Placements: Around 6 to 10 students are recruited annually by companies such as Jain Irrigation, Syngenta, and other fertilizer companies, with an average package of approximately 4 LPA. Still, many students do not focus on placements as they prefer to pursue postgraduate studies in other universities. I also plan to continue my higher studies at a reputed university.
Infrastructure: The library is one of the best in Uttar Pradesh, offering Wi-Fi facilities. Games are conducted annually in November and December, and an indoor badminton stadium and a free gym are available. The campus roads are in excellent condition. However, there is a lack of proper laboratory facilities for undergraduate students.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, providing guidance on academics and life. Career guidance sessions are conducted every six months. They strive to make students feel comfortable, ensuring a homely atmosphere. Faculty members are committed to completing the syllabus on time.
