For Engineering stream (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry- MPC Background): Candidate must have passed 10+2 Examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry(MPC) as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from academic year 2000-2002 onwards, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. With minimum mentioned marks in the subjects specified (MPC) taken together at 10+2 pattern. (40% marks for candidates belongs reserved Category in the subjects specified (MPC) taken together at 10+2 pattern) For Agriculture and Pharmacy (AP) stream (Biology, Physics and Chemistry- BiPC Background): Candidate must have passed 10+2 Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optional, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto. Appearing candidates for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with same above subjects, are also eligible.

Candidate should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders. Candidate should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit. For Agriculture and Pharmacy(AP) stream (Biology, Physics and Chemistry- BiPC Background): Candidate are also eligible who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
