IIT Roorkee BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Selection, Admission Dates, Placements & Seats

For IIT Roorkee BTech course admission, aspirants need to have a valid score of JEE Advanced. There is no other provision for selection.. Each of the stages in the IIT Roorkee admission procedure is explained below:

STEP 1: IIT Roorkee BTech Application Process 2025

Step 1: Open the official website (jeemain.nta.nic.in) and click on the ‘Registration for JEE (Main) 2025’ link.

Step 2: Fill out the registration form with the required information, followed by clicking on the submit button.

Step 3: Fill out the detailed application form and upload scanned images and documents.

Step 4: Pay the application fees.

Documents required to fill out the JEE Main 2025 application form

Before the JEE Main 2025 registration process, students must keep the following documents and information ready for a smooth application process:

• Valid email-id and mobile number
• Academic details related to the Class 10 and Class 12 qualifying exams
• Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable)
• Scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable)
• Scanned photograph and signature as per the specification mentioned by the NTA
• Net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI details for application fee payment

STEP 2: Release of Cutoff List

Once the JEE Main results are announced, the cutoff list is released to declare the minimum qualifying marks required for selection. The cutoff marks vary for each of the BTech specialisations.

STEP 3: JoSAA Counselling

Candidates who meet the minimum cutoff have to take part in the JoSAA counselling. For each round of counselling, a separate cutoff list is released. It is carried out until all the seats are filled. Further, if the seats are left vacant after these rounds of counselling, then those are filled through CSAB counselling.

STEP 4: Reporting for Admission

Those who are offered admission must report to the institute with original copies of academic and personal details. After that, they must submit the fees.
