For admission to MBBS at Sharda University, students must pass Class 12 in the Science stream from a recognised board. The selection for this course is based on the valid score of students in NEET UG entrance exam. It is a national-level entrance exam, which is conducted by NTA for the selection of candidates in undergraduate medical courses. Once students qualify all the parameters of the selection process, final seat allotment via the UP State Government online counselling process conducted by "Director General of Medical Education of Uttar Pradesh.
Sharda University cutoff for the MBA course is based on CAT scores. The university offers admission to MBA through SBS. As per Sharda University cutoff 2024, General category candidates aspiring for the MBA (Dual Specialisation) course must have a valid overall CAT percentile of 60.

To get admission to BTech at Sharda University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, which is to pass Class 10 with 60% aggregate & Class 12 with a minimum of 60% to 70% aggregate (60% aggregate in PCM Computer Science/PCB for Biotechnology (without any gap between Class 10 & Class 12 and 50% aggregate in Maths). Sharda University BTech admission is entrance-based. Students need to qualify for either SUAT or JEE Main (All India rank of up to 3 lakh) entrance exams with a valid score. The final selection is done based on the score of the respective entrance exam and the performance of candidates in the Personal Interview (PI) round. Those who apply via SUAT scores are required to appear for a PI round conducted at the School of Engineering Technology. Candidates who applied via JEE Main score are exmepted from both SUAT and PI round. The NTA will administer the JEE Main 2026 test in two sessions. JEE Main 2026 application form session 1 is now available. Because the exam will be given twice, the NTA will issue a different application form for the April sessions.
