- The last date for the CUET UG 2026 registration has now passed for the BA course. The exam for the same will be held from May 11 to May 31, 2026.

Sharda University BA course is a UG level course that is offered in the streams of Humanities and Social Sciences along with Media, Film and Entertainment. BA at Sharda University is offered in both general and honors course mode. There are eight specialisations of general BA courses which include BA in Psychology, English, Political Sciences, Economics, etc.
BA (Hons) course is available in seven specialisations which include BA (hons) in Journalism and Mass Comm, Film, TV & OTT Production, Geography, etc. Candidates who apply for Sharda University BA admission are selected based on merit in Class 12 board exams.

Yes, Sharda University has an in-house entrance exam of its own. The university conducts Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) for admission to all of its UG and PG courses. This entrance exam is valid for UG and PG courses from all the streams such as Management, Engineering, Science, etc. It is mandatory to qualify for this entrance along with fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to any of the course. But students who apply with a valid score of some respective national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, ATMA, GATE, JEE, etc., shall be exempted from SUAT. The university also conducts Sharda University Scholastic Aptitude Test (SUSAT) exam to provide upto 100% scholarships to the qualifiers.

Sharda University BA course admissions follow different selection criterias for general and honors mode. During the Sharda University BA application process, candidates will be asked to provide their Class 12 board exam results. If the candidates are applying for the BA (hons) course, they will need to appear for the SUAT to apply for Sharda University admission.

STEP 1: Sharda University BA Application Process 2026
- Go to the website of Sharda University.
- Click on the "Apply Now" tab and register on the admission portal.
- Choose the desired BA course and fill the admission form.

- Pay the Sharda University BA application fees.
The application fees is INR 1,000 for female candidates and INR 1,500 for male candidates.
STEP 2: Selection Process
After the candidates have submitted their admission forms, Sharda University will begin the selection process. From a student’s point of view, if your financial background is not strong, I would honestly suggest going with LPU for B.Tech CSE. The main reason is that LPU offers good scholarship opportunities based on your 12th marks or entrance tests, which can significantly reduce the fee burden.
