SNU Noida PhD Eligibility & Highlights 2025
PhD is a minimum of three-year and a maximum of six-year course offered at the doctoral level. SNU Noida offers PhD in 16 specialisations through various schools. Some of the PhD specialisations are also offered in part-time mode. After completing graduation, candidates can apply for any of the PhD specialisations.

JEE Main is one of the criteria for SNU Noida admission to BTech programme. The minimum aggregate for BTech is Class 12 with at least 65%. As per the data collated from multiple sourced, 90.2 is a decent score and can get the candidate admission in SNU BTech course. However, such aspirants will not be abe to avail SNU Scholarships. Candidates with at least 95% marks in Class 12 Board or at least 98 percentiles in JEE Main can get 25% waiver in tuition fee.

SNU Noida admissions are either entrance or merit-based. Candidates have to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for any of the courses. For UG courses, candidates must pass Class 12 and have appeared for SAT or JEE Main in case of UG courses. SNU Noida admission to PG courses like MBA, MSc, etc. is based on entrance exams like NMAT, GMAT, XAT, university admission test, etc. for specific courses. Along with entrance-exam, aspirants must also complete graduation to apply for PG courses.
Shiv Nadar University has a simple admission process. Candidates can begin with registration of the course of their choice. The applicable fee for entrance exam i.e. SNUSAT is INR 2,500. Once the registration is done, aspirants are required to check the criteria for selection for the particular course.
For UG courses, SAT, CUET, etc. is accepted for admission. Aspirants can also appear for SNUSAT conducted by the university. SNUSAT is a two hour computer-based test conducted for UG admission. Besides, for PG courses, admission is based on national-level entrance exam.
The campus environment at Shiv Nadar University is good. The food available in the university canteen is quite good. Shiv Nadar University provides sports and various facilities to students. SNU Noida PhD Scholarships 2025
Check below SNU Noida PhD scholarship details:
- All full-time PhD students admitted to the course will receive a doctoral fellowship including a 100% tuition fee waiver and a 70% fee waiver.
- The students will receive a monthly stipend of INR 40,000 for first two years and INR 45,000 for the third, fourth and fifth year subject to satisfactory performance. The assistantship is subject to to satisfactory performance in the programme evaluated continuously and compliance with all university regulations.
- The student has to pass the PhD qualifying exam before the end of fourth semester.

SNU has all the facilities available at the tier 1 university. The university infrastructure is quite good. The placements are decent. The scholarships are good. Overall, the various available facilities are good.
