Insightful review of SRMU.
Placements: Being true and belonging to the humanities field, I don't know much about the placement facilities of my university. One of my friends in B.Teach computer science field has recently got a package of 3.5 LPA from the university. In seminars, many companies visit my college to provide internship facilities and jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with green boards and smart boards. Wi-Fi is also provided. Computer labs are big with the latest systems. We have access to it for 30 days. Being a day scholar I didn't know much about hostel and hostel food. Buildings are provided with lifts for faculty members only, and students only in case they are ill or unhealthy.
Faculty: Our faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. Many of them are passed out from Lucknow University and most of them have done Ph.D. in their respective subjects. The curriculum effectively prepares students for civil services, research, and law by interacting with contemporary political issues and case studies. However, it could benefit from more practical components, such as internships, field studies, and research projects. Exams are conducted semester-wise, with a mix of written papers and internal assessments. The difficulty level is moderate to challenging, depending on analytical skills.
Other: I chose B.A. (Hons. ). political science because of my deep interest in governance, public policies, international relations, and political ideologies. This course also aligns with my career aspirations, whether in civil services, law, journalism, diplomacy, or academia. It builds critical thinking, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of current affairs which are essential for competitive exams like UPSC SSC and other government services. Every function is celebrated in our college especially Navratri in which our college organise dandiya night. A major event is Anubhuti which is a 3-day celebration fest marking the establishment of the college.

Experience at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University.
Placements: There are approximately 50 students in economics hons and only 25% of them get placements. Here is a very low quality of placements. Last year's placement package was 12 LPA something and only 10 students got the placements. So I would say there are no good placements at all.
Infrastructure: My department name is Institute of Management Commerce and Economics. The department quality and infrastructure are really very good. I would say that there is always availability of Wi-Fi. Labs are so clean and well-maintained. Hostel facilities are average.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and friendly also. They are highly qualified and well-knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very relevant and it makes all the students industry-ready. The semester examinations are of moderate level as there is no difficulty if you have studied it.

Placements: I am currently studying B.A. Economics Hons. About 71% of students get placed in my course according to their marks, CGPA, performance, and interviews. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc., visit the college to hire students. About 69% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: There are 5 departments and every department has its own department library and Wi-Fi connections. There is a central library for all students. Every floor has washrooms for men, women, and staff members. Hostel facilities are average but the food is good. There are also some extracurricular activities in the university.
Faculty: Faculty members of our department are very helpful. They provide every study material for each student, and in gaps, we can study in the library. If students have any doubts, then they make sure that doubt does not arise again. They take weekly tests and presentations to make us prepare for stage performance to build our confidence.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an IPS officer and for that, I have cleared the UPSC examination. I thought instead of choosing B. A will choose B.A. Economics Hons which can be my plan B if I fail in my UPSC exam.

Honest review on SRMU Lucknow.
Placements: There is placement for the technical courses around 25 LPA, but the rest of the non-technical courses, such as B.A., BSW, M.A., and MSW, don't have any placements. They only get internship opportunities and campaigning experiences. Various guest lectures are conducted to guide the students for the same.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and its canteen needs a lot of changes and alterations. They are not kept with cleanliness and hygiene. Also, the furniture in the classrooms is not well maintained and is kept with zero care. Wi-Fi doesn't work properly, and the food in the canteen needs to be prepared with hygiene.
Faculty: Teachers and staff are helpful; they are very kind and understanding. Also, they are qualified with the best education and hence try to give their best to the students as well. The course prepares students to be ready for real-life problems with a good set of knowledge and skills. Every month,, internal tests are conducted.

Placements: Placements were not provided for psychology students after graduation. Many of our friends from different departments got placed in very good companies with very good salary packages. Students get placed depending on their hard work.
Infrastructure: The hostel was good. Cleanliness was well-maintained on campus. Students must get a pass on Saturday in the warden's office to go for an outing on Sunday. Hostel security was good. Mess food was good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were good, supportive, and knowledgeable. They prepared students for semester exams and other competitive exams. Faculty members of the humanities department were good and humble.
Other: Events and fests organised in our college are very good. There are many clubs for students to explore. I was a coordinator of one of such clubs. They organised many festivals like Diwali, Holi, Navratri, and Dandiya nights with proper DJs.
