SRMU BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
SRMU BTech course is a four-year UG level engineering course offered in full-time mode only. Candidates can choose from three modes of BTech at SRMU including BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering. More highlights of BTech courses are as follows:
- BTech in Computer Science and Engineering is offered in two course mode which are CSE in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security. Both of these courses are offered in collaboration with L&T EduTech.
- To be eligible for SRMU BTech admission, candidates need to pass Class 12th in the PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST category for only BTech in CSE courses).
- Selection of candidates is based on either merit in Class 12 board exams or CUET-UG.

Yes, candidates can apply for BTech at SRMU Lucknow directly after completing Class 12 board exams. Selection is done on merit-basis for all BTech courses. However, candidates with a valid CUET-UG score can also apply through those scores to get admission into BTech.

- Meet the assigned counsellor and take all the required details related to the academic and non-academic environment, programme, fees, payment plan, etc.
- Register in the desired programme, if eligible by filling out the admission form and making a payment of INR 1,000 towards form fees through cash/ card/ online mode.
- Enroll in the BTech programme by paying the first instalment of the fees which is 30% of the first-year course fees.
- Submit all the documents and take copies of relevant documents such as the declaration form along with the fee receipt.
2. SRMU BTech Selection Criteria
Selected candidates will receive a receipt of admission through post. The final step of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University course admissions is to pay the SRMU BTech fees which range between INR 2.9 lakh and INR 5.3 lakh depending upon the specialisation selected by candidates.
