Good infrastructure, supportive faculty and promising Pharma placements.
Placements: Around 60% students were placed. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, while the lowest was around 2LPA. The recruiting companies were Cipla Limited and Aristo. Almost 90% students got internship at the STNM hospital. The roles offered were Pharmacy Technician and Production Executive.
Infrastructure: The B.Pharma department at SPU has modern labs for all the core pharmacy subjects, Wi-Fi enabled classrooms, and a well stocked library. Hostels were clean with decent mess food, a canteen, basic medical care, and facilities for both indoor and outdoor sports.
Faculty: B.Pharma faculty at SPU were qualified, approachable, and use practical examples to explain concepts. The curriculum was industry oriented with LSBS and internships that build real world skills. Semester exams were moderately difficult, and most students clear them.
Other: I chose B.Pharma at SPU because it had career scope in healthcare and pharma, and I appreciate the hands on lab and supportive faculty. Improvement in advanced lab equipment and more industry visits would add value. The campus was peaceful with good connectivity, active events, scholarships, and a friendly environment.
