SPA Delhi MDes admission process starts with the application process. Students seeking admission must submit an online application form. The fee to apply for the MDes programme is INR 2,500.After completion of the application stage, the admission committee constitutes a rank list based on students' scores in the CEED examination. Based on this list, students are shortlisted. Students who are offered admissions must report to the institute for verification of documents and payment of fees. Successful fee payment completes the MDes admission process.

The final induction of students for the MDes course offered by SPA Delhi is subject to document verification. As per the SPA Delhi NIRF 2024 report, a total of 157 PG (2-year) students were placed during the placement drive held in 2023. Other than this, the report states that the median package offered to overall PG (2-year) students stood at INR 6.75 LPA. Moreover, some of the top recruiters who have participated in the past years placements included Ernst & Young, WSP India, Honda Motor Company, etc.

Once the students have submitted application forms the admission committee begins the screening process. All the registered students are evaluated based on their academic record work experience, area of study, and more. SPA Delhi offers an MDes course with a single specialisation, Industrial Design. Under this course, the institute offers around 29 seats. These seats are subject to students performance in CEED.
