Admission to most of the programmes of SPA Delhi is entrance-based. The institute considers scores in GATE/ CEED for M.Arch and MPlan, JEE Main (Paper-II)/ DASA UG for BArch, CEED for MDes and JEE Main (Paper-II) for BPlan programmes. Hence, entrance exam scores are required for admission in UG or PG courses at the institute. Candidates who have passed a master's degree in any of the courses conducted by the School/ Integrated master's degree course or its equivalent with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent GPA are eligible to apply for the PhD programme. Aspirants who have passed B.Arch, BPlan or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent with at least 80% or 8.0 GPA or equivalent grade with at least three years experience can also apply.

The aspirants must fill out the SPA Delhi application form to be eligible for admission. For PG course admissions, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field of study with 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/OBC). SPA Delhi has adequate sports facilities so that students can enhance their skills in the field of sports. The school offers sports facilities for basketball, badminton, volleyball, a gym garden, table tennis, and billiards.
