Admission to most of the programmes of SPA Delhi is entrance-based. The institute considers scores in GATE/ CEED for M.Arch and MPlan, JEE Main (Paper-II)/ DASA UG for BArch, CEED for MDes and JEE Main (Paper-II) for BPlan programmes. Hence, entrance exam scores are required for admission in UG or PG courses at the institute. Selected candidates are requirement to participate in the counselling rounds and pay the course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.

To be considered for SPA Delhi PhD admissions, students must fill out the application form. The applications for the PhD programme are made available by the institute throughout the year. Yes, SPA Delhi does follow a reservation policy while offering admissions to its BPlan programme. As per the policy, a total of 26 seats are reserved for the admission of candidates belonging to the underprivileged section of the society. Listed below is the complete breakdown of the SPA Delhi reservation policy for the UG courses, including BPlan:

• 07 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the SC category
• 03 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the ST category
• 12 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the OBC category
• 04 seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the EWS category

Students must note that 5% of seats under SC, ST, and OBC categories are reserved for Physically Challenged Persons on a horizontal basis. Moreover, one seat in the BPlan programme is reserved for Kashmiri Migrants.

To seek admission, aspirants shall fill out the application form that can be downloaded online (spa.ac.in) and submit it to the school centre. Further, the selection is based on performance in JEE Main. Candidates applying through JEE also have to go through JoSAA/CSAB counselling process for seat allotment.

The aspirants must fill out the SPA Delhi application form to be eligible for admission. Further, candidates who are applying for BArch and BPlan courses will be allotted seats basis their performance in JEE Main. For PG course admissions, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant field of study with 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ST/OBC). Admission to the SPA Delhi M.Arch course is based on the fulfilment of the eligibility and selection criteria. Candidates who are selected and make it to the rank list, prepared on the basis of the GATE/CEED score, can confirm their admission by visiting the admission office in person.

SPA Delhi has released the cutoff for BPlan admission. The institute offers admission to the course based on JEE Main scores. As per the available cutoff data, the JEE Main last round closing rank for General-All India students was 1458. The closing rank for the same category of admissions in 2023 was 503.
