What's new at Sri Venkateswara Vedic University? Admissions 2023-24 are open for UG (BA-Sastri), Diploma, and Certificate courses. Candidates can apply through the official website.

Sri Venkateswara Vedic University offers degree and diploma courses to aspirants at undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) level. The university provides traditional and modern courses to aspirants. Traditional courses are related to Vedic studies whereas modern courses are in computer science and English language.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG & PG Courses

Candidates applying for pre-degree courses should be at least 15 years of age (not exceeding 17 years of age).

To secure admission in traditional courses, aspirants should have adequate knowledge of the respective Agamic, Cognate and Vedic literature/scripture/subject.

For PG courses (modern), aspirants should be of atleast 20 years of age and have completed their education 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 or any other equivalent (level) accepted by the UGC. Students should have completed their graduation with good knowledge of Sanskrit language.

Note: Aspirants are advised to thoroughly go through the eligibility criteria as mentioned by Sri Venkateswara Vedic University for the course in which they wish to secure admission.

Admission Process

Sri Venkateswara Vedic University conducts an entrance exam to shortlist aspirants for admission. However for some courses like, Visistacharya Course (MPhil-Regular), after clearing the entrance exam, aspirants also need to appear for interview/group discussion round.

Application Process

Candidates need to fill Sri Venkateswara Vedic University application form in their own handwriting. The declaration must be duly signed by the candidate as well as his/her parent or guardian. Duly attested Xerox copies of the below mentioned documents must be enclosed along with the application form:

Provisional/Original Pass Certificates of the last qualifying examination.
Marks obtained in each examination right from Metriculation/ SSC/SSLC to the last qualifiying examination.
Transfer Certificate
Date of Birth Certificate.(Certified by the Municipal Corporation/ Village Panchayat)
Study Certificate.
Conduct Certificate

Very good college and provides good facilities.

Placements: 75 percentage of students were placed in my course. The highest and the lowest package offered in my course is maximum 7 Lacs. Minumum 4 Lacs package, average of 5.5 Lacs. Top recruitment companies are good and bad in some companies are packages are very low.

Infrastructure: In my college infrastructures are so good and faculty members are excellent. In my course faculty members are excellent teaching and developing of education and labs /departments. Labs are very excellent course will teaching in my college. So labs are good and excellent.

Faculty: The teachers are very good and excellent were so helpful, qualified. They were so helpful in semester exams and lab activities in exams. In what ever it may be there are so much helpful in another activities also so helpful in college. So thankful to faculty.

Overall good college and have good facilities.

Placements: Maximum 75% students were placed in my course. The highest package is 7 LPA, lowest is 4 LPA and average is 5.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are wipro, tcs and Amazon. 90 percent students got internship.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good in our course. We have a very good classrooms, labs, all the facilities are good what we need is available. The facilities in our hostel is also good when it compared to other college hostels. Canteen there is very good medical facility. Finally we have sports and games.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and very knowledgeable. The way they teach is very good we all understand very well. The quality of teaching was very good. Yes the course is curriculum relevent and also students make ready for industry. The semester exams are touch pass percentage is 80.

Placements: The percentage of students was 92%. The highest package offered was 45 LPA (off-campus, international company), the lowest package offered was 3.6 LPA, and the average package offered was 10.2 LPA. While the curriculum provided a strong academic foundation, self-learning, internships, and certifications were often needed to become truly industry-ready.

Infrastructure: Large playgrounds were available for football, cricket, and athletics. Indoor facilities were provided for badminton, table tennis, and chess. A gymnasium and fitness center were available in most hostels.

Faculty: The teaching quality was decent to good overall. Some professors used modern teaching aids, real-world case studies, and interactive methods, while others relied more on traditional lectures. Practical-oriented subjects were often better taught than theoretical ones.

Other: It is the best college. The college often organized workshops.
