Not the flashiest medical college but a decent education hub.
Placements: State of Assam has a service bond of 1 year, so every doctor who is a pass-out has to be placed in a Health center of Assam. Apart from that, the culture of companies hiring through medical colleges has not yet been seen here. The salaries of the service bond are usually Rs. 60,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The departments have air-conditioned and smart-enabled lecture halls, a library with all the standard books, labs with almost all apparatus available, and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The hostels have decent infrastructure, the rooms are spacious, sufficient furniture is supplied to every room, and cleanliness is pretty average.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and always open for one-to-one interaction, the faculty members are doctors themselves, so they are sufficiently qualified. Teaching quality is decent. The course curriculum is designed by NMC, which is applied nationwide, the one-year internship (included in the course itself) does make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite difficult to pass. The pass percentage usually falls below 50 percent.
Other: I chose the course due to the practicality and professionalism of the course. The best thing about the course is that it's not at all boring, everyday is a different experience with patients. I wish the strict attendance criteria aren't there, as it makes you attend the classes you don't find useful.

My college ranks among the top medical institutes of Assam.
Placements: Almost everyone gets placements. Students from MBBS, Nursing, and other medical technology courses get placed. Our college produces excellent doctors every year. Moreover, we get a wide variety of patients, which boosts our practical medical knowledge.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is poor. Not all students pursuing MBBS get hostel allotment. Moreover, transportation is a major issue. Compared to the number of students pursuing MBBS, we need at least two or three more hostels so that everyone gets a chance to enjoy hostel life.
Faculty: We have some of the best faculty members in Assam. Our examination papers are comparatively tougher than those of other colleges. Our curriculum is also top-notch. Faculty members are very strict, which is why they continue to produce outstanding doctors year after year.
Other: Actually, we do not have a campus. Our hostel is situated between the hills. Hospital campus is located below the hill. Moreover, principal's office and library have been shifted to the new Mother and Child Healthcare Unit.

It's perfect for those who really want to learn.
Placements: Students got jobs in various industries such as medical. Recruiting companies are Sunpharma, Mankind, etc. Toppers come from this institution among all the pharma institutions in Assam. Jobs are quite easy to get after completing from this institution. Many companies tried to hire from this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good and newly renovated. There are enough rooms. There is perfection of the floor with titles and a proper library. Nice campus with greenery and flowers on campus, big classrooms and a lecture hall. There are nice and clean washrooms with enough space.
Faculty: The pass percentage is about 98 percent and the top score from this institution. The course is very good and the best faculty in this institution. Students are really learning not only from theory but also by interacting with patients in hospitals, clinical work, and practices.

I'm satisfied, but the Wi-Fi facilities should be introduced really quickly.
Placements: There is no provision for direct campus placement in this course. After completing the undergraduate course students need to apply for various posts in different healthcare settings. As a fresher we can expect a salary of around Rs 15,000 - Rs. 18,000 in a private hospital or nursing school. In a government set-up it would be around Rs. 20,000-Rs. 25,000 with a gradual increment in the upcoming years with experience. Students can also opt for higher education and work as lecturers.
Infrastructure: The labs, classrooms, and library are in very good condition but there is no Wi-Fi provision. The quality of food is average. The medical college is near our hostel and proper medical facilities are available in the hospital. There are no provisions for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching and guidance contain quality content. The course curriculum is quite relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit tough and you need to really study hard to thrive. Students need to get 50 percent marks in each subject to pass the university examinations.

A good pharmacy college in the Northeast region.
Placements: Cipla and Sun are the companies where most students want to go and work. Around 40% of students get internships at Lupin.
Infrastructure: The lab and classrooms are good and well maintained. They have a projector in every class. The lab contains all facilities required in a pharmacy college. The library is also there, with all books available, including all pharmacopeia. The lab contains all the equipment and journals that are needed.
Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and have experience in both practical and theory. Teachers are well educated. The lab assistants are also well trained and educated. They guide us properly in every topic, practical, and other extra activities.
Other: I always want to build my career in the medical line, that's why I chose this course. I will pass out in 2026. Now I am in the 7th semester. There are many students in our class. The total strength is 48. The package our college offers is Rs. 60,000 admission fee and 55,000 per semester fee.

I think I chose the best college.
Placements: 90% of students got placed from my course. The highest package is more than 1.5 lacs per month. The lowest salary is about Rs. 50,000- Rs. 60,000 per annum. The average package is about 1 LPA. Recruitment at AIIMS. Almost all my batchmates got an internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is spread over 5 acres of land and has individual departments. Wi-Fi is available all around the college. It has a big playground. Food is available in a mess. The quality of food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are like our parents, they are very helpful and sweet. They are very knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is fantastic. It is relevant for our day-to-day life. Semester exams are quite tough and require reading 12 hours daily to score good marks. Faculty members are from every corner of the state of Assam.
