I think I chose the best college.
Placements: 90% of students got placed from my course. The highest package is more than 1.5 lacs per month. The lowest salary is about Rs. 50,000- Rs. 60,000 per annum. The average package is about 1 LPA. Recruitment at AIIMS. Almost all my batchmates got an internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is spread over 5 acres of land and has individual departments. Wi-Fi is available all around the college. It has a big playground. Food is available in a mess. The quality of food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are like our parents, they are very helpful and sweet. They are very knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is fantastic. It is relevant for our day-to-day life. Semester exams are quite tough and require reading 12 hours daily to score good marks. Faculty members are from every corner of the state of Assam.

Good placements in 2024 Really good infrastructure clean and hygience area Facilities excellent .
Placements: 100% of interested students find jobs in the pharmacy or healthcare field. Internships: Students undergo practical training in various internships at reputed hospitals and pharmaceutical companies, often in Assam or nearby regions. The average initial package for B. Pharma/D. Pharma graduates often range from 2.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA, depending on sector and role. With experience, many alumni take up roles in reputed institutes and industries nationwide. Graduates are employed by leading hospital pharmacies, community health centers, and private sector pharmaceutical companies. Typical job profiles include pharmacist, medical representative, QA/QC associate, and clinical research assistant.
Infrastructure: The campus is spacious with modern infrastructure. Classrooms are large, well-ventilated, and equipped with audio-visual aids. Laboratories are well-equipped for practical classes. Hostels are sizable, clean, and well-maintained with separate accommodation for boys and girls. The hostels come with 24-hour electricity, running water, and CCTV security. Mess food is considered average, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options and a monthly cost of around Rs. 1,500- Rs. 2,000. The college cafeteria and mess provide nutritious meals three times daily. There is also a canteen and snack options on campus. The campus is easily navigable, with e-rickshaws available for commuting between different blocks and hostels.
Faculty: The teachers at Assam Medical College? S Institute of Pharmacy are generally helpful and approachable. Most faculty members are qualified and have strong subject knowledge, though a few might not be as engaging in their teaching style. The curriculum is updated according to PCI norms and focuses on making students industry-ready, covering theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Overall, you will get a strong academic foundation but more emphasis on internships or in-campus placement drives would be appreciated. The library is well-stocked and labs have all the necessary equipment.
Other: I choose this course because there have many you in as a pharmacist You can do in your own wish pharmacy as business and also government hospital pharmacist Faculty are generally helpful and knowledgeable, with an updated PCI-approved curriculum that balance theory and practical. Labs and the library are well-equipped, though more industry exposure would help. Semester exams are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. Pass rates are good for attentive students. Overall, the course build a strong foundation, but additional career-focused workshops and internships would improve industry readiness.

B.Sc. in Nursing - Batch of 2023
Offered by CPMS College of Nursing
2.8

No good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 100% of students got placed. In our time, no companies came for recruitment. They were serving in Assam and Arunachal Hospital. B.Sc. nursing, GNM nursing, ANM nursing, M.Sc. nursing, physiotherapy, and many more courses were included in the coming year for eg, lab technician and ophthalmology.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi at our time was not available. Labs were there but not in much use. Classrooms were okay, and library was there. Quality of food was not so good. Medical facilities were not provided. Sports and games were held only on college weekdays. There was a small canteen which was not enough for the entire college.
Faculty: Those who were present at that time teaching was good. But some teachers were not available for specific subjects. It made the students industry-ready. There were no semester exams or direct annual exams conducted. Pass percentage was the same as the other colleges related to Srimantha University.
Other: I chose to join this course because I wanted to be part of biology. Best thing about this course was that it's a professional course. Overall, improvement was required. College weeks were held in which cultural, sports, and academic activities were included. Campus crowd was okay. The connectivity was good, and scholarships were provided.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2029
Offered by Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed Medical College And Hospital
4.6

Satisfied with the college and will also recommend the college to others.
Placements: 100% placement since it's a government medical college. The average package a medical student gets after graduation from FAAMC is around Rs. 40,000 per month, which gradually increases with seniority and higher degree to the lakhs. The doctor's graduating from FAAMC is placed in various PHC, CHC, and Model hospitals, which are under the government.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is top-notch, but maintaining it in a government environment is always a barrier. Facilities of the hostel lack a bit in terms of hygiene, and all are maintained, but there is scope for improvement. Mess provides the food 3 times a day, which is a bit irregular sometimes. Sports and games are top-notch here. Football, cricket, table tennis, volleyball, and a few other sports are very common here, which are regularly played, and more sports are played during the college week.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and top-notch. Teaching quality is almost entirely done, and they are also helpful. Lacks sometimes, as the curriculum is too huge to be completed, a very relevant curriculum. Semester exams feel a bit tough and hectic when it comes to dealing with the sleepless nights and countless hard work. The pass percentage is overall 90%-95% in the finals.

After completing 4.5 years of the academic course, we have to attend a compulsory 1-year internship and also 1 year of compulsory rural posting under NHM Assam.
Infrastructure: There is a free Wi-Fi system all over the campus. There are various lecture halls, classrooms, and a central library containing many books. The hostel provides good food to students. There are various fields for sports, and many plants are also grown nearby.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and very knowledgeable. There are a total of 9 semesters in MBBS, divided according to various years. The pass percentage is a minimum of 50%. This profession demands great enthusiasm and hard work. But it is enjoyable too because of the many students.
Other: The medical profession is very good. There are frequent events and college weeks. Extracurricular activities are also conducted here.

This college has a great learning experience due to the high patient. inflow.
Placements: There is an internship program at the end, in which mandatory service is provided in the hospital. It can also be considered a stage of learning about healthcare by being a part of its providers. The stipend paid is Rs. 35,000 per month, which is generally higher than that offered by many medical colleges, making it a plus point.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with digital boards, and classes are conducted through presentations displayed on the smartboards. Classrooms also have air-conditioners. There are two libraries. One is in the college building, and the other is in the lecture hall complex. The practical demonstration labs are located in their respective departments.
