For admission to the MBA Course, you must qualify for any national exam like CAT, etc., or an entrance exam conducted by the university. 

The selected students will get called for the interview round after clearing the interview you will shortlisted for admission only.

The cutoff marks for the MBA for the general category will go around 97 to 100 percentile in the CAT Exam. This is for the top colleges IIM Calcutta, Ahmedabad etc.

The minimum you need to score is 90 percentile to get admission to other colleges for MBA. It depends on the college and number of seats they are offering. 

For the selection process for an MBA degree:

You must have secured 50% in your bachelor's degree of a minimum of 3 years. For the Reserved category, it is 45%. 

For admission, you must have cleared any national-level exam like the CAT or you can opt for an entrance exam done by the university.

After clearing the exam you will get a call for an interview. You will get admission only after clearing the interview.

Entrance test weightage is 60% while for an interview it is 40%.

For MBA, IILM will be a better option for you than STAREX university. IILM is a better ranked university than STAREX. The placement packages of IILM are also better. The highest package offered at IILM was 20LPA and average was 6LPA. While in STAREX, average was 3 and the highest was 10LPA. The difference can be clearly seen. IILM is much more expensive than STAREX as the fees for MBA here is 4.4 lacs while in STAREX it's only 2lacs.But the returns on the fees invested are much better at IILM. So final choice should be made by overseeing all these and other factors also. 

The fee for the Starex University Gurgaon MBA course is INR 3 lakh. This course fee is calculated on the basis of first-semester fees and includes components such as tuition fees. The candidates availing of the hostel facilities have to pay the hostel charges as well, which sums up to INR 2.25 lakh. In addition, the mentioned hostel fee is for Non-AC (3-Sharing) plus the security charges. At the time of application form filling, aspirants have to pay the application fee as well to submit the form successfully.

Although there are many courses available to pursue at STAREX University, but BTech and MBA are the top courses here. Courses like Msc., BPharma etc. are also available but the ROIs for these courses are not good. The fees of the courses are very high. The placement packages are also not so good, so BTech and MBA are the top courses of this college which provides a decent  return on fees invested.
