Selvam College of Technology was really a good engineering college.

Placements: Selvam College of Technology was the best placement college in Namakkal district. More than 95 percent of students were placed in well-reputed companies. This college had a very active placement training team, so they conducted more campus interviews every year. They brought top reputed companies like Royal Enfield, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, TVS, TCS, and Wipro for campus interviews. The highest salary package was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 3.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Selvam College of Technology had the best infrastructure facilities. The classrooms were comfortable for all students. Modern laboratories and well-stocked library facilities were available. The college had good hostel facilities. Veg and non-veg food were available in the hostel and canteen. The college had good sports ground facilities and emergency medical facilities. The campus also provided Wi-Fi network facilities.

Faculty: Teachers at Selvam College of Technology were very friendly and helpful. They had more than 5 years of experience in teaching. They conducted multiple model exams every month and arranged many industry visit programs every semester. They conducted more than 8 lectures every week. Around 90–95 percent of students passed all semester exams.

Other: Selvam College of Technology was one of the best engineering colleges, so I selected it. The college provided good transportation facilities. Its placement records were also very good. The management gave scholarships to many students and conducted many events every year.

Placements: Placements are quite low, but the limited placements that are available are from high-profile companies seeking highly talented students with good resumes. Companies like Coromandel, Infosys, and other software companies recruit students for their legal firms.

Infrastructure: Classrooms in our college are highly comfortable for the students. All the classrooms are filled with air conditioners, smartboards, and projectors, which makes it easier for the students to understand the concepts compared to other colleges.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college hold more degrees, which shows their experience and knowledge in the subject. The way they teach makes it easy to understand the concepts. The exams are a little difficult because their standards are high, so you can learn well and secure good marks. The exams make you gain a wide knowledge.

Other: The law fests are conducted often, and sports events are encouraged. The selected students are taken to various sports meets.

Placements: When we have a strong background, we might get chances to work with top professional lawyers as a trainee. They wont provide any job assurance, simply approaching their connectivity for a job reference. To my knowledge, 30 to 35% were working in some roles.

Infrastructure: There was incharge of the library to maintain it properly, but it was maintained with zero percent of updated books, but buys newspapers regularly and stored them for future reference. Small canteen setup with a short menu, which was cooked in limited quantities.

Faculty: Most of the professors working here were guest lecturers with a temporary working period. So they wont address the issues of the students properly. Professors were on time to the college to provide timely entries in their records to avoid work problems.

Placements: A maximum of 90% of students are placed in our college. In our college, the highest salary amount is Rs. 15,000 per annum, and the lowest amount is Rs. 5,000 per annum. In our college, there are different companies that come and go. Most students are placed through that. Zoho and Deltax are the types of companies that recently came to our college.

Infrastructure: All are good and neat. Our college campus is very neat and good. The college manager maintains the college very neatly. The hostel is very good, and all kinds of things are there, and the hostel food is very hygienic and tasty. They also conduct sports on the weekends.

Faculty: All teachers are friendly with the students, and all the teachers are well-educated, and their teaching skills are very good. In the semester exam, the pass percentage is 50%. It's easy to pass the exam because the teachers give important questions. If we read those questions, we easily pass.

Other: B.Teach. IT is the top course in the current generation, and this course is easy to understand.

Some of the popular recruitment companies near our college, like JNN Global Law Consortium LLP, Thaagam Foundation, and Margadarsi Chits Pvt. Ltd., were reached by us with the referral of the placement team.

Infrastructure: The online applications for admission into the college were done through the official website of TNDALU. Scoring the best grades in HSC results offered seats based on the number of applications received. Students were totally free from paying tuition fees and were asked to pay only the exam fee. The amenities available in the college were not well enough.
