Gandhigram University BCom course admission is based on the CUET scores. To apply for the BCom programme, candidates are required to appear in the CUET, counselling process and seat allocation process. Gandhigram University admission 2024-25 for the BCom programme is through CUET and, candidates who meet the CUET Cutoffs are called to appear for the counselling process.

Gandhigram Rural Institute Counselling process 2023 is ongoing. The university is currectly conducting Round 2 Seat Allotment for PG courses, including MSc Micro Biology, MSc Applied Geology and Geomatics, MSc Botany, MSc Zoology, MSc Chemistry and MSc Food Science and Nutrition. For applying admission in the Gandhigram Institute you will be required to get passing marks in CUET examination and there will be counselling for the selected candidates who all are getting higher cutoffs in the examination and in the counselling you will be required to pay the admission fees then and only that admission will be considered.

To get admission in Master of Science (MSc) programme, candidates must have passed graduation and appear for CUET- PG exam. Selection will be done the basis of CUET score. Admission will be given after the verification of the original certificates. Candidates admitted to PG programmes must submit the consolidated statement of score/ performance record of the qualifying exam. 

The Gandhigram Rural Institute's placements is good in terms of ROI. But when compared with the Alagappa University, Alagappa's placement is better than the Gandhigram Rural Institute because of their infrastructure and alumini networks. The Gandhigram Rural Institute has a moderate placement percentage, with 50% to 60% of students getting placement every year. On the other hand, Alagappa university's placement statistics indicate that 30-40% of students were placed in various courses, with the highest package ranging from INR 10-12 lakhs and the average package varying.
