Amongst all the courses, PG has shown most placements for the year 2022. The University has still not released the 2023 placement report. But, the NIRF report 2023 is out. According to the report, a total of 141 PG students were placed during Tripura University placements 2022. The median package offered to PG (1-year) and PG (2-year) students was INR 3 LPA and INR 2.60 LPA, respectively. For PG (3-year) courses, the median package was INR 10 LPA. So, basically we can say that choice of course depends upon the person's interest but looking into placements, PG sector is better option to pursue at Tripura University.

The total tuition fee for a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Tripura University (TIT) is INR 42,000. The course is four years long and admits 60 students. The overall cutoff for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) at Tripura University in 2023 was 50.26 marks. Applicants must have completed 12 years of formal schooling and have aggregate marks of 45% or higher in Class XII (or its equivalent) with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English as subjects.
