The placement drive for the 2024 season at Tripura University has ended, but the placement report is still pending.However, the NIRF report for 2025 has been published. A total of 102 students achieved placements during Tripura University placements 2024. Out of which, 15 belonged to undergraduate courses like MLibIS. Placement opportunities are great in this university.

Placements: Our university gives a very good proactive placement offer. Students are eligible for placement opportunities from the 5th semester. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Accenture. The highest package offered was 9 LPA, and the average package was 4.6 LPA. Around 50% of students get placement offers.

Infrastructure: All types of facilities are available in this university. Classrooms have smart boards, and libraries are properly equipped with more than 3,000 books. Our university arranges a sports day every year. Both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available. Our university also has a club for mental health and well-being.

Faculty: Faculty-to-student ratio is low, with a very small number of faculty members available. Sometimes, when a teacher is absent, there is no one to substitute for them. However, the present faculty members are really good, and the bonding between students and faculty members is great. Various exams are conducted in a semester, which are Class Test 1, Class Test 2, a model examination, and the semester examination. Most of the students easily pass the exams.

Disappointed with faculty and placement support.

Placements: Placement is easy, but the system was below average. Marks are needed for admissions and placement. More of people are from Tripura. Last but not least, overall placement is good compared to other colleges. This college is below average.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is not available in the college. The water source available is unsuitable for drinking or any other use. The toilets are unusable, they are dirty, and smelly. Classrooms are dirty and not have enough materials to do practical and more.

Faculty: They are no curriculum activity in this college. The faculty members are very irresponsible. They only need their salary and have no intention of doing extra things. .Course HOD is very good, but the lecturers and other teachers behaviour is very bad. If they decide to fail you, then you fail the exams. Overall, my review is below average.

The best professors and guest lecturers are available in our department.

Placements: I am not sure about placements, but I have seen my seniors getting placements. Students get offers from well-known companies, like Bajaj, private banks, etc. Everyone gets an opportunity to realise their talents and utilise them in the real world. We get exposure to the real world.

Infrastructure: Hostels are available for distance students. The mess is available with proper food. Departments and hostels are within walking distance as it is inside the campus.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, supportive, very friendly, and heartwarming. The course curriculum is very industry-relevant. It covers a maximum and diverse aspects for students and helps students to get prior knowledge of the market. They also help us in decision-making. Exams are up to the standard, and according to my knowledge, 100% of students pass the next semester. The course is very diverse and interesting. We also get exposure in training programs and internships.

The hostel buildings are clean and better than expected.

Placements: In the final semester, placements are conducted to place students. Companies like Infosys, Omega, VDart, etc., hire students. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Many students did not get placed because most of the students opt for research in my department.

Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are available with 24-hour water and 24-hour electricity facilities. Meals are provided in breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Various food options are available around the college. The canteen facilities are also there. Rooms are also available at cheap rates near the college campus. There is a large collection of books and journals in the university library.

Faculty: There are well-educated teachers. Their teaching method is very beautiful. There is a semester-based system, and the exam level is tough.

Other: Regarding clubs and extracurricular activities, I can assure students that we will have access to the best sports facilities and clubs. Our campus offers an abundance of opportunities.

Review of Tripura University.

Placements: The placement cell does a pretty decent job there. There is a college placement cell also. The placement cell works actively throughout the year to provide placement to the students Many big companies come to recruit graduates of different fields. The placement drives start around the middle of November. Some of the names are Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, TCS, and many more. At my time of placement, the average package of most of the companies was 3 - 3.5 lacks. Generally, internships were unpaid but a maximum of Rs 2000/month stipend. Lots of companies like pharmaceuticals, digital marketing, and many more visit our college/

Infrastructure: There are different courses offered for all three streams. There are also too many things to do other than just studying, like different societies are there in my college. Hostel facilities and mess food are very good. They provided it at a very reasonable hostel mess was a vegetarian one. The hostel rooms were very clean and hygienic and it was easy for every student to cope because there were not too many students in one room. The hostel room has a bed, chair, and table.

Faculty: Some faculty members are very good at delivering knowledge, and some are a little bit poor at delivering the vast knowledge they have. Overall most faculty members are very good at understanding things. They encourage us to take part in various events and hold an expert degree in their various fields. The course curriculum is pretty good. 2-semester exams are held in 1st, the 3rd and final years 6 months apart and 3-semester exams are held in 2nd year 6 months apart. Besides this, part-completion exams are held every month after the completion of any topic.

It is an AICTE-approved college.

Placements: Only a few companies like Flipkart, Microsoft, Deloitte, Wipro, and Amrit Cement recruit here. This college offers maximum placements for Computer Science and Technology students but has very few opportunities for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering students. It offers placements to only a few Civil Engineering students.

Infrastructure: There is just one building for the whole college, housing all branches of engineering along with Diploma and Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) students. The courses are good and offer a variety, but the only issue is that there is no hostel.

Faculty: Teachers at this college are very helpful. Sometimes a few teachers get angry when questioned or during quarrels. Every department has more than ten to twelve faculty members, including the heads of departments. The exams held in this college are conducted under Tripura University.

Other: If you have friends who match your vibes, the canteen food is not of good quality.
