Tumkur University Scholarships and Funding
University offers several merit-based scholarships for students belonging to SC/ST, OBCs, minorities, and physically challenged (Divyang) students. The Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, corporations, and corporate house and community welfare societies also provide scholarships.
There are two types of scholarship for MBA at Tumkur University, Karnataka. The Government Scholarships and University Scholarship. More details about these are provided below:
- Government Scholarships:
State Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to meritorious students belonging to Karnataka who have secured a rank in the Karnataka PGCET or KMAT entrance exams. The scholarship amount is Rs. 50,000 per year for two years.
There are some more scholarships for the students those who belongs to SC, ST and OBC caste and Minorities can also avail these scholarships.
- University Scholarship:
Tumkur University Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to meritorious students of each batch of the MBA program. The scholarship amount is INR 10,000 per year for two years.
Tumkur University Alumni Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students whose parents are alumni of Tumkur University. The scholarship amount is INR 5,000 per year for two years.
Yes, Tumkur University offers scholarships to SC/ST and minority students under the scholarship scheme introduced by the Government of Karnataka.
