Review of Uka Tarsadia University.

Placements: There were many students, and also there were placements for international students. The top recruiting companies were L&T, ONGC, Essar, etc. Around 400 to 500 students were there for the diploma civil course. In our batch, almost 105 students were hired in one class. There were 3 classes i.e class A, class B, and class C. Each class had 100 to 120 students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course was average. This college provides a big library. The gym, food corner, laboratory, stationery, medical, etc., were also available in this college.

Faculty: Faculty members were good and relatable in this college. The exams were difficult in the 5th and 6th semesters.

Other: In this college, scholarships were provided. All functions and activities were conducted. Events like Navratri, Ganesh Chaturthi, Diwali, and Holi parties with DJs were held.

Diploma experience at UTU (Maliba Campus).

Placements: As for the Diploma qualifications, there are rarely any companies willing to recruit freshers. But faculty members regularly share information if there are requirements of Diploma pass out students as freshers to join any consultancy or company. The students who joined, also got paid.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, like very good. Wi-Fi works well, but it does not allow some websites and games to load, even WhatsApp does not work on the college Wi-Fi even when each classroom has a Wi-Fi. The library is packed with all the books required. Hostel is okay, the food is not good to be honest. In the morning, you have an option of the canteen food, but at night, you have to manage with the hostel food only.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and friendly in nature, they solve app your doubts and help you in career selections. The curriculum is bad, it does provide basic knowledge about all the branches including soil, water, survey, etc., but they do not teach us software which is the real need nowadays. Semester exams are divided into 2 parts with internals which are taken twice a semester consisting of 3 chapters in each subject with no holidays in between the exams, and externals which consist of the whole syllabus including 6 chapters with a break of at least one day between the exams.

Other: All the events are celebrated here. Freshers, farewell, navratri, youth fest, etc. are all well managed with proper checking and guards around the campus to avoid any wrong doings. Sports week is also organized at the university level where all the institutes or departments compete with each other to win final prizes.
