Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) - Batch of 2023

It is excellent. I personally feel good in my college.
Placements: The highest package is 12 LPA in my college. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Tata Motors, Infosys, and other companies visit the college for placements. The top course offered is B.Tech. In the last semester, after exams, companies visit the college to hire students. Students get a great experience in internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available all over campus. It has all facilities with a big playground and a big canteen. The hostel has the best food with full facilities and a security guard. Students get vegetarian food. We can see the attractive look of the college. All classrooms are fully furnished.
Faculty: Teaching quality is best and helps to get self-knowledge. Difficult samesters are 7-8. The pass percentage is 33%. Teaching quality and rules are the best. Exams are great with supportive teaching quality. All departments are good.
Other: My father is a businessman, so I chose the BBA course. Campus activities are conducted. It is fully functional. All festivals held are good. Top students get scholarships.

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2027
2.4
3Placements2Infrastructure1Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Needs major improvement in faculty and practical learning. Provides average placements.
Placements: I am a B.Tech Information Technology student from the 2027 batch at Uka Tarsadia University. Placements are average, with around 60% of students placed. Highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, lowest salary package offered is around 2.5 LPA, and average salary offered is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, and Tatvasoft. About 50% of students received internships, mostly in small IT firms or startups. Roles offered were mainly software developer, QA tester, and support engineer. Placement support is decent but could improve. Many students rely on off-campus drives for better opportunities, especially in specialized domains like cybersecurity or data Science.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at Uka Tarsadia University for B.Tech IT is below average. Classrooms are basic with limited SMART features. Labs are often overcrowded, and many computers are outdated. Wi-Fi is available but frequently unreliable. Library has a decent collection, but many books are outdated. Hostel rooms are small and lack proper ventilation and cleanliness. Mess food is repetitive, often tasteless, and not very hygienic. Canteen offers limited options at high prices. Medical facilities are minimal, with only a basic clinic. Sports facilities exist but are poorly maintained. Overall, both academic and hostel facilities need significant improvement.
Faculty: Faculty at Uka Tarsadia University for B.Tech IT is disappointing. Many teachers lack proper industry exposure and mainly focus on theoretical knowledge. Practical teaching and real-time project guidance are minimal. Curriculum is outdated and does not match current industry standards, making it hard for students to become job-ready. Key areas like AI, cybersecurity, and cloud computing are not given enough importance. Semester exams are relatively easy, and the pass percentage is high (around 85 to 90%), but students often pass without gaining real skills. Overall, the course does not prepare students well for professional careers or competitive job markets.
Other: I am from the B.Tech Information Technology batch of 2027. I chose this course because of my interest in computers and the growing demand for IT professionals. Best part of the course is the flexibility to explore different domains like web development and programming. However, the course needs major improvements in terms of practical exposure, an updated syllabus, and industry-focused training. Events and tech fests are conducted, but not regularly or on a large scale. Campus crowd is average, and extracurricular activities are limited. Connectivity to the campus is good, and some scholarships are available for meritorious students.

M.Sc. in Information Technology - Batch of 2025

Review of Uka Tarsadia University in the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
Placements: 80-90% of students are placed in my course. The fee is Rs 83,000 per year. I don't know anything about recruiting because I haven't done any of those opportunities. Although other of my friends have internship and placement opportunities as I lie in the general category, I don't have any opportunity.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi does not work at all on our devices. Classrooms are big and large with projectors. There are 2 libraries with many books. The quality is nice, but it is also expensive. It is free for the students to the canteen. Some of the shops don't allow students to eat their home lunchbox inside it.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty decent, and they also help students in certain ways. Just sometimes they put too much stress on us. It is too much to take it all with examinations and curricular activities involved. The examinations in every semester are for particular exams, theory, exams, and different by marks, later unit tests placed with different marks with external final exam.
Other: Sports week is conducted at inter-department and university levels. Business bustle with different departments is held on different days. Youth fest includes lots of competitions.

Diploma in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027

One of the best colleges near Surat.
Placements: Mostly every student is placed in diploma in CE even borderline passed students too. I don't know about the packages yet but its normal. Many reputed companies come to directly recruit students from college but after the B. Tech is completed. In past years, every student got internships.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is average as my friends stay there. They sometimes complain about the hostels. But infrastructure is great as we have Wi-Fi all over the campus. We also have multiple computer labs, a seven-floor library, and institutional libraries.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They even have a great level of knowledge. But the teaching quality is slightly above average. The college has permission to change the syllabus so we don't have to study that government approved decades old syllabus. It makes sense as the curriculum becomes very relevant due to this. The passing percentage is as usual 33%, and every semester exam is average.
Other: I chose this course as I am willing to become a computer engineer as this field has been growing very quickly in recent years. Best thing about my course is that we can work in all sectors as every sector nowadays uses computers to automate their work. We have well-planned events, fests, as well as extracurricular activities.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharma) - Batch of 2023

I am satisfied with the great faculty members, good placements, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: 50% of students get placements. The highest starting package is Rs. 25,000 per month and the minimum salary is Rs. 15,000 per month. 90% of students got internship opportunities in leading pharmaceutical companies like Cipla, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, and Torrent Pharmaceuticals. Overall, it is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The quality of the food is great. The hostel has a separate canteen and living rooms for both girls and boys. It provides food three times. Morning and breakfast are sufficient and tasty for living a healthy lifestyle. We have a laundry facility five times a week for use.
Faculty: The teaching is very good. Teachers are very good and give total support. Teachers are very cheerful. At the end of the semester, we took a trip with mentors and completed the thesis and assignments all with the guidelines provided by teachers. Everything is good.
Other: There is every festival, event, and sports event each month.

Satisfied with teaching and teacher quality, good infrastructure, greenery, and medical support.
Placements: I am a third-year BBA student. So, as we are talking about the placement in my university, it is decent, as many students have a business background, so many of them are not interested in jobs. But for potential students, company provides jobs at least Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month. Companies are basically the local industries of Surat and the surrounding area.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, with greenery all over the campus. And classes and campus have Wi-Fi. And the main attraction of our campus is the central library. One of the biggest libraries in South Gujarat. As a hostelite, I can tell hostel is good and food is average, with Wi-Fi working in some lobbies. For sports, we have a huge ground, a basketball court, & volleyball court. But for future students, there is a good advantage as our university is building a sports complex with golf, swimming pool, and many more sports, which is expected to be completed by 2026 end.
Faculty: For my course faculty are very well qualified with good industrial and market knowledge, and the thing is they are very helpful for everything you need. They use projectors to teach, and practical assignments related to real market are given. Thing is topics and subjects covered in our college for our course are so valuable and good that they make your MBA easier, as they contain MBA-like topics.
Other: For fests, there is one fest conducted every year, YouthFest, for at least 3 nights, and events are conducted every 2-3 months. College can do things like they should provide a student ID connected with the college, as they are useful in taking student discounts for brands like Apple.
