To be eligible for admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at SPPU, a candidate should pursue a stream that includes Mathematics at the 10+2 level and have a degree in any Science graduate (including B.C.A. under Science Faculty).

To be eligible for admission to the BTech in CSE at DES Pune University, a candidate should pursue the Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices in their 10+2 (SSC/ ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) examination.

The college is strict when it comes to eligibility requirements for BTech in CSE at DES Pune University, with requirements including:

For reserved category candidates, the eligibility criteria for B.Tech. in Computer Engineering at DY Patil University Pune differ as follows:
- Passed the 10+2 examination with any three of the following subjects: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship, and obtained at least 40% marks in the above subjects taken together.

The admission criteria for M.A. in English at SPPU is based on the eligibility criteria and entrance test score. The eligibility criteria includes a Bachelor's Degree with English Special or English as a General Subject, and final year students are also eligible to apply provided they meet the eligibility criteria later. The entrance exam pattern consists of 100 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) with a total of 100 marks, and the exam mode is CBT (Computer-Based Test).

The eligibility criteria for admission to DY Patil University Pune for B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science are:
* The candidate must be an Indian National.
* Passed the 10+2 examination with any three of the following subjects: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, or Entrepreneurship, and obtained at least 60% marks in the above subjects taken together.
* Passed a minimum 3-year Diploma examination with at least 60% marks, subject to the availability of vacancies in the First Year.

Students who have completed class XII or equivalent from a recognised board with Mathematics/Business Mathematics as a compulsory subject are eligible to apply for direct admission to the B.Sc. in Data Science course at the Department of Technology. Students who have studied Computer Science are preferable.
