SPPU Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application, Selection Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to MA are required to have completed their relevant UG degree. For further selection, candidates have to appear for OEE conducted by UniPune for final selection. The majority of MA courses are available on the campus of UniPune while a few chunks of MA specialisations are also offered by various affiliated colleges and recognised institutes under UniPune. After appearing for the exam, students are required to wait for the merit lists released on the official website of the university. After the release of the merit list, students are required to fill in the admission form and upload the necessary documents in it. After all the documents are verified by the relevant department, an admission fee challan is generated and the fee must be paid followed by that before the last date.

Candidates who are in the final year of their qualifying exam can appear for OEE conducted by SPPU. For the same, students can apply online on the 'PG Admission' portal of the university. The admission is subject to candidates' passing the qualifying exam. For admission to courses offered at the affiliated/ unaided colleges under SPPU, it is suggested that the candidates must visit/ contact the shortlisted institute. It must be noted that the application fee for OEE is INR 600 (for General category students) and INR 400 (for reserved category candidates) for a single course.

At the PG level, UniPune offers a two-year MSc programme in over 20 specialisations. While admission to a majority of these specialisations is OEE based, there are a few courses, such as Medical Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science and Drug Chemistry, among others, admission to which is completely merit-based. In addition to this, there are a few MSc programmes, the duration of which is slightly different from the majority. Yes, Pune University offers a two-year MA programme across more than 40 specialisations to the students at PG level in the field of Arts. In addition to this, there are multiple Integrated MA courses offered at the Unipune departments The majority of MA courses are available on the campus of UniPune while a few chunks of MA specialisations are also offered by various affiliated colleges and recognised institutes under UniPune. At the UG level, Pune University offers a full-time BTech programme. The duration of the programme is four years, spread across eight semesters. While BTech in Aviation is offered by SPPU at its main campus only, the BTech programme is offered in multiple specialisations through SPPU-affiliated colleges. The mode of application is online. Department of Management Sciences Pune admission are entrance-based. The university accepts national entrance exams such as MAH-CET, CMAT, CAT, etc. with courses such as BBA and Executive MBA having their own Entrance Tests conducted by the university.

Minimum marks required for admission in BA LLB at SPPU is 45% aggregate in Class. However, minimum eligibility has been reduced to 40% aggregate for students from ST/SC category. Eligible candidates need to qualify MH-CET to get admission.

MBA admission at UNIPUNE is subject to the entrance exams, CMAT/ CAT/ MAH CET. Therefore, candidates need to watch out for the important dates of CAT, CMAT, and MAHCET. Candidates need to visit the official websites of the abovementioned entrance exams and register themselves. Savitri Phule Pune University offers an MBA programme along with several other MBA combinations at the PG level. Candidates who want to enrol can register for the course through the official website of the university and follow the further admission process.

Yes, students who are not from Maharashtra can get admission in BA LLB at SPPU if they qualify eligibility and selection criteria. There are 85% seats reserved for Maharashtra candidates. However, 15% seats are open to candidates who are not from Maharashtra.

No, SPPU offers admission in BA LLB based on entrance exam score. Students need to qualify eligibility criteria and clear MH CET (Law-5 year) to be eligible for admission in BA LLB at SPPU. Some of the affiliated colleges may offer some seats through Management Quota.

BA LLB admission at SPPU is aligned with MH (Law) CET dates. Admission is administered through Maharashtra CET. Online registration for Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for BA LLB is open currently.

Total fee charged by Department of Management Science (PUMBA), Savitribai Phule Pune University for 2-year MBA in Pharma-Biotech is INR 2.5 lakh. Students also have to pay other one-time charges.
