A candidate seeking admission to the programme must have passed in final B.Mus./B.A.(Music)/B.P.A. in Vocal Music(North Indian Classical Vocal) Instrumental in North Indian Classical Music(Sitar, Violin, Tabla) OR B.A. Hons., B.A. in the concerning subject applying for i.e., Vocal Music, Instrumental Music as a subject, Music must be the Hons. Subject at B.A. Hons./A subject studied at Graduation level OR Any Bachelors Degree from a recognized University provided the candidate has also passed one of the following examinations: (A). Sangeet Prabhakar exam of the Prayaag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. (B). Sangeet Visharad exam of the Bhatkhande Sangeet VidhyaPeeth, Lucknow. (C). Sangeet Rattna exam of the Madhya Pradesh (M.P.) Govt. (D). Sangeet VID Exam of Indira Kala Sangeet Vishaw vidhyalya, Kheragarh (Chhattisgarh). OR (E).Any equivalent examination.
