Life in college is the golden days.
Placements: Around 35-40% of students from our course were placed through local recruitment and small-scale organisations in and around Doda and Jammu. Some students also found opportunities through personal referrals and off-campus drives. The highest package was Rs. 22,000 per month, and the average package was Rs. 15,000 per month. Yazu Digital (Local IT Company), Regional IT and Service Firms, Small-scale Business Unit in Doda and Jammu. Private Educational Institutions (for technical and administrative roles), the lowest package was 10,000 per month. The top role was in BCA.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is good. All departments are well settled and maintained. All the facilities are provided by the college authority. All facilities like Wi-Fi, labs and classrooms are available. There is no hostel facility available in our college, which is the main disadvantage.
Faculty: The faculty is very responsive and helpful to students. All are well-qualified and well-behaved staff. Well Knowledgeable teachers are there. They tried their best. The curriculum activities are performed, and they try to prepare students for all fields. All courses are difficult, but you have to do them. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I love my course, this was my childhood dream, that's why I chose this. I don't know what to improve. I think it is better as it is. Events, Fest, Campus Crowd, Connectivity, Campus Surroundings, Scholarship, Extracurricular Activities, etc., are all performed and organised by the faculty members every month and are necessary for everyone to participate.

Okay college if you just want a general graduate degree. Don’t get your expectations sky-high.
Placements: It’s basically a very normal, timepass college. If you want to join just for the degree, you’re most welcome, otherwise, no companies come here for placements. Students you’ll meet are mostly non-serious. The majority of the students are preparing for exams alongside college, so forget about placements in hotel chains.
Infrastructure: There is no hygiene maintenance in the canteen. There are good opportunities in sports in our college, if you play well, you can definitely do well here. NSS and NCC are also there if anyone wants to join.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but not interested in teaching. This course is only a general degree if you want to give any further government exams, else, this course is just a waste of time. Semester exams are easy, nothing difficult about them.
Other: I chose this course in 2023. The best thing is that I just wanted a general graduate degree, which I got from the college. The whole college needs an upgrade. No events, no fests, nothing is there in the college.

A little glimpse of JIAR, Jammu.
Placements: There are no placements at the college. After completing a degree and internship, it is our own choice whether we want to study further for master's or we want to practice. It is our own choice of what we want to do after the completion of the degree. Internships are important in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice and good. Separate departments have different buildings and blocks. Hostel facility is also available. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls. Canteen is also present on the college premises. As it is a medical college so it has its own hospital.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. They are very helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is also good. There are teachers from different regions in the college. The course is for 5.5 years. The pass percentage in 50% which is there in all medical colleges.
Other: Each batch has maximum of 60 students. There is nothing to improve about the course as it is great to learn about our ancient medical science. There is an annual fest in the college. Sports fest is also held.

It is not good for good students.
Placements: In our college their is no placement no company will come and give you a job. You have to apply specifically in companies and the ratio of passing students is very low in this college. The college life is not good. The infrastructure is not good.
Infrastructure: The facilities on our college campus are not that good. We have Wi-Fi and labs but they are not in good condition. The hostel is in very bad condition. The infrastructure is just a mess. In the hostel, the food is very average. The hostel is in very bad condition.
Faculty: Our teachers are good and qualified but the time which is given for exams is very little. The semester ends in just between 3 to 4 months. Exams are not that easy the pass percentage is very low. Teachers are good but some have ego issues.
Other: I chose this course because I want to prepare for a competitive exam. Their nothing happening on our campus no fest, nothing.

MIET is a good college in Jammu and Kashmir.
Placements: Placements of Model Institute of Engineering and Technology is quite very good. Students are given different experiences to handle jobs. They provide time-to-time internships for students so that they can achieve experience and that would help them in their future as well as in their placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities in the college are very good. They provide Wi-Fi inside the campus. It has chemistry labs and a library. It also provides sports in this college from time to time. Sports activities happen in the college and it also has organised systematic groups.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and very brilliant. They understand us. They help us in the future and also motivate us to do our work. They also are very good and support us in every way that would help in our future.

Genuine review of MIET College.
Placements: Till now, no students have passed this course. Our batch is second in the college. This course is new in our college and we do not know much about placements. But according to college faculty members, 40 to 50% of students will get placed after the course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very good. College infrastructure is very neat and clean. Good to see digital labs are there. Wi-Fi is provided by the college. Library is also provided by the college. Digital classrooms are also available. There is no hostel provided by the college and do not have any hostel facilities. Canteen is provided by the college. There are two canteens in our college, one is food counter and Nescafe.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching qualities are also good for the professors, but teachers are little bit strict. Teachers make students industry-ready with many sessions and seminars. The difficulty level is there in the exams, and the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I didn't get admission to LL.B. course as the seats were filled earlier. Many events are organised at this college.
