Eligibility: At least 45% aggregate at the XII Std. Examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Admission: Admissions to B.Sc. (I.T.) will be based on the Entrance Examination (MCQ based) which has 60 % weightage & Class XII aggregate marks which has 40 % weightage.
Reservation: As per government norms, there are reservations for SC, ST, OBC, and other categories.
Minimum education qualification: 12th standard pass with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Yes, Mumbai University first merit list 2025 has been declared for its affiliated colleges for admission to the undergraduate courses. The cutoff was released in the form of percentages for different categories of students. MU first merit list has been released college-wise for aspirants seeking admission to courses such as BSc, BCom, etc. As per the first merit list, for admission to the B.Com in Accounting and Finance course, the cutoff percentage for admission to Kishinchand Chellaram College and H.R. College of Commerce and Economics stood at 96 and 95, respectively, for the General AI category candidates. The cutoff percentages for these two colleges are comparatively higher as compared to the past two years. Similarly, for St. Xavier's College, Mumbai, the highest cutoff percentage was 98.82 % for admission to BSc in Physic course among the General category students.
