A good college option if you miss out on the top 3 colleges in Mumbai, great location.
Placements: Though I am a first-year student, I am aware of the placements that our college provides. I am a student of Bachelor's in Management Studies batch 25-28, and the top recruiting companies for my course include KPMG, Deloitte, Zomato, TCS, etc. The average salary offered on Campus is Rs 4.1 LPA, and the highest is 7.1 LPA. According to the Placement Cell Reports, 22% of the total students placed for the year 2024-25 were from the BMS programme.
Infrastructure: We, Self-financing Programme Students, have AC classrooms with Wi-Fi and smart LED screens for educational purposes instead of typical whiteboards. There is no hostel and canteen at the college, but there's a Nescafé in the parking lot of the college. There's a college turf a few metres away from the college and a garden area or outdoor gym on the college campus.
Faculty: The teachers are really experienced as well as well-educated for the current period of teaching. They are helpful and kind. The course curriculum is highly relevant and in accordance with the NEP 2020. There are subjects like IKS -Indian Traditional Knowledge System and EVS-Environment Studies, which help in getting a better view of the world around, while keeping in view the business aspects of it.
Other: The crowd here is really diverse. Not the SoBo vibe crowd, but people are really fun, kind and generous. There are lots of events that take place. Moneta is the key attraction for Finance enthusiasts.

My college review of computer engineering.
Placements: Hi, I am Sahil. About 70 percent of students are placed in my Computer Engineering course. I think in Computer Engineering, the highest is 1 lakh per month, the lowest is around 20 K to 40 K per month, and the average is around 60k. I think that the top recruiting companies for computer engineering are Infosys, Spider and many more.
Infrastructure: In my opinion, I loved the facilities and infrastructure at my college, but I think the Wi-Fi issue occurs sometimes. The labs are well-equipped, the classroom is okay, and the library is stocked with various types of engineering books for my department. I am not from the hostel, but my friends told me that the hostel food is good, which is awesome.
Faculty: In my Computer Engineering Department, the faculty are helpful. According to their jobs, they teach well and are knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. In my opinion, semester exams are easy, and the pass percentage is around 90 to 95 percent in my computer department, which is all good.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in coding, and the best thing is that it is related to computers, and computer is my favourite thing. Events and fests are good with lots of fun games and entertainment. I loved the vibe and campus surroundings, and I love the area of my college.

Satisfied with the teaching but not with the placement.
Placements: At least 10 per cent of students were placed in my batch, and they also sent non-IT roles to the placement cell group. The package is up to 3.5 to 5 LPA, and they also send companies like Media.Net, Bigul, and customer support roles in the IT placement cell.
Infrastructure: The library is good, but no Wi-Fi is provided. I also found a couple in the library, which is disturbing. They should remove them from the library. The quality of food is good in the canteen, and the college also supports sports, in which I have taken part. Medical support is also provided by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but not all teachers are the same; some do favouritism depending upon who is in the council and who is not. All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good, and they explain all the topics thoroughly. The exam pattern is also good.

A good college with helpful faculty and solid facilities.
Placements: Around 60-70% students from my course were placed. The highest package was about 6 LPA, the lowest around 2 LPA, and the average was 2.5-3 LPA. Top recruiters included IT support firms, fintech startups, digital marketing agencies and a few known tech companies. Around 40-50% students received internships in companies offering roles in web development, technical support, QA and basic software projects. The main roles offered were Junior Developer, Web Developer, Technical Support Executive, QA Intern and IT Operations roles.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have a hostel, but the infrastructure for the B.Sc. The Computer Applications course is good. The computer labs are well-maintained, and the systems work smoothly for practical purposes. Wi-Fi is available in most areas of the campus, and classrooms are clean with projectors for teaching. The library has enough books and a quiet space for studying. The canteen food is affordable, and the campus location is convenient, with basic medical and sports facilities available.
Faculty: The faculty for the course is helpful and knowledgeable. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable if you need guidance. The curriculum is relevant and covers the basics needed for IT jobs, along with practical lab sessions. Semester exams are moderate and manageable if you attend lectures and keep up with assignments. The pass percentage is generally good, and internal assessment also helps improve overall marks. Overall, the teaching quality and academic support are solid for this course.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the IT field and wanted a degree that includes both theory and practical skills. The best part of the course is the supportive teachers and the practical labs that help in understanding coding and computer fundamentals. The college also has events, fests and decent extracurricular activities which make the overall experience enjoyable. One thing that could improve is providing more industry workshops and advanced technical training for students who want to grow in the IT field.

Astonishing campus life at SPIT, where competition challenges you.
Placements: 100% placement every year. The training and placement team is also brilliant. I personally work with one of the officials in the TPO. I see mock interviews, and the training is amazing, with companies like PhonePe coming and hiring students, which is a very good thing.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel, so minus for that. Wi-Fi is unlimited, and every corner of our college has it. Labs and classrooms are air-conditioned. Canteen is top-notch, with amazing food at a reasonable price.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent, mostly having completed their Ph.D. Course curriculum is highly relevant. The semester exams are very difficult. It is very competitive, with evaluation going on almost every day, which in turn makes students study all the time. Question papers are difficult. Pass percentage cannot be predicted. Courses are a bit difficult, and grading is tough.
