BSc at Usha Martin University is a three-year undergraduate programme. This programme is spread across various specialisations. These specialisations are Agriculture, Bachelor in Physiotherapy (B.PT), Nursing, Medical Radiography & Imaging Technology, MLT (LE) Programmes, MLT, Operation Theatre Technology, Mathematics and Computing, Criminology, and Forensic Science. Admissions to all the Usha Martin University BSc courses are made based on merit in Class 12.
Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for all the BSc courses are Class 12 with science. Except for the Maths and Computing course, the eligibility criteria are Class 12 with Maths.

Usha Martin University BSc Scholarships 2025
UMU BSc scholarships are designed to provide financial support to meritorious students of UMU. The university offers various scholarships to cater to the varying needs of students. Following is a detailed list of UMU scholarships and respective eligibility criteria:
- Merit-Based Scholarship
- 100% for all male students enrolled in any programme and scoring above 95% marks in their qualifying examination.
- 50% of all male students enrolled in any programme and scored marks in the range of 90%-95% in their qualifying examination.
- All female students enrolled in any programme and having more than 90% marks in their qualifying exams will be eligible for a 50% scholarship. However, if a female student scores between between 80% and 90%, she will receive a 20% scholarship.
- Domicile-Based Scholarship- 10% for students having domicile of Jharkhand and enrolled in any programme.
Note: As per the UMU official website, these scholarships are not offered to students enrolled in Nursing programmes. Moreover, those who get merit scholarships are not eligible for domicile-based scholarships.
