It is an average university, according to the fee.

Placements: The placement cell is not that active. Students from engineering or computer science can expect it to some extent. Being a forensic student, there is no such placement opportunity. Students usually opt for higher studies rather than taking placements.

Infrastructure: Labs are fully optimised and are functional for practical exposure. Classes are well-structured and have almost all the needed equipment. Still, a bit of advancement is needed. Though there is some internet issue on the campus, it is located in a rural area. There is no availability of Wi-Fi to students. The library is good with the availability of all kinds of study materials, along with some fiction and biography books.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and totally friendly. The teaching style is to the point, except for a few old faculty members. The syllabus includes the topics needed and relevant to the course. The end-semester exams are strictly conducted and are easy to pass if we pay attention to the syllabus. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: For Forensic Science, I would suggest this university is good in terms of relevance to study if you are looking for a private university with a budget. Management should be improved. Events and fests organised are not to that extent, but it's fine.

Overall, the college is great as compared to any other colleges in Jharkhand (private). .

Placements: In Usha Martin University, if you pursue the forensic Science course then you have high chances of getting a package. As per seniors and passing out batch, most of the forensic Science students flavour to do M.Sc. After B.Sc. because of the high demand in Masters degree. But some students do only B.Sc. and they got internship at Jharkhand well known Forensic laboratory, th Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University. They offer you to work with them after completing your B.Sc. course. Also the reputation of the Forensic Science students is very well in the whole University.

Infrastructure: There are both Hostel and day schooling available at our college. The college infrastructure is excellent. They provide you a e-classrooms for lab work, Wi-Fi, Library, and time to time field visit for a better understanding in our course. The hostel infrastructure is also above the average. The food quality is very good, there are both open gym for everyone and indoor gym for hostel boys. Medical facilities are very much good. The warden of the hostel is also very supportive to us. I am also a hosteller so you can believe me.

Faculty: The faculty members of forensic Science are very supportive. They always help you to any kind of work, if it is assignment related or any personal issue. They help you to figure it out. The curriculum is like this make the students industry ready. The semester or mid semester exams are not too hard. They only give you a small portion of your syllabus, so that you can do both study and enjoy.
