For MBA admissions at Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), the latest cutoff requirements state that candidates from the General and OBC category need a minimum of 55% marks overall.

 On the other hand, candidates from the SC/ST category must have a minimum aggregate of 50%.

The fee for two years of the VMSB UTU MBA course ranges from INR 54,000 to INR 6.8 lakh. However, the total tuition fee for the course includes charges other than just tuition. The admission fee, security fees, and other one-time charges are all included in the course fees. Therefore, to reserve their seat for MBA admission, candidates must pay the applicable course fee.

The VMSB UTU MBA admissions process does not offer direct admission. However, the selection is primarily based on valid entrance test scores, i.e., MAT, CAT, UKSEE, XAT, and any other accepted management entrance tests. Candidates who have completed their graduation with relevant subjects are eligible to submit application forms. This entrance-based admission process will ensure that only eligible candidates are shortlisted for the MBA programme. In order to take admission at VMSB UTU for MBA, candidates must appear for the accepted entrance exam.

The placement rate at the university is around 80%.The maximum number of candidates are placed in top firms like Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Emicon, IBM, HCL, Accenture, Eminence, Infosys, etc. Apart from this, the university also conducts internship exams to give students the opportunity to undergo internships during the course duration. The Uttarakhand Technical University highest package is INR 54 lakh per annum followed by an average package of INR 3.5 lakh per annum.
