Vidyashilp University Courses & Fees 2026: UG, PG, Doctorate Courses

VU offers Hons with Research programs for BA, B.Tech, BMS, and Law, for eligible students. Students opting for it, undertake a supervised research project in their final semester, which makes them eligible to apply for a PhD programme after their degree.

Need-based Scholarships assist students who demonstrate strong academic rigor and come from families with limited financial means to support their higher education goals. Further details around the scholarships are provided to the applicants through the admission counsellor.

Students can apply online for Vidyashilp University scholarships. The university has merit-based, need-based, and more such categories of scholarships. Students may have to submit some supporting documents with the form.

For taking admission in BDes at Vidyashilp University, candidates do not have to appear in any entrance exams. The university accepts CBSE / ISC / STATE BOARDS / NIOS / EQUIVALENT EXAMINATIONS) CBSE or ISC CLass 12 scores for admission. 

Candidates wishing to take admission in BTech at Vidyashilp University have to appear in entrance exams such as: KCET / JEE Mains / COMEDK / CUET and other State Level Entrance Examination (Eg.: CETs of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra. Based on AICTE & KCET requirement.

Vidyashilp University does not offer BBA LLB program. They offer two, integrated law programs such as:  BA LL.B and BMS LL.B. Both of the programmes are 5-year programs. Once the submitted forms are verified, candidates have to attend a one-on-one discussion. It is conducted with the Programme Head of the programme you have applied for followed by an interaction with the academic dean.

JEE / KCET/ COMEDK (any one exam) is mandatory for applying to Vidyashilp University's B.Tech Hons. Programs (Data Science and AI/ML). For admissions to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme, CLAT scores is preferred. CLAT score enhances their scholarship opportunities. It is not mandatory though.

The University provides separate hostels for boys and girls in Yelahanka New Town, with shuttle services and hygienic meals, ensuring a comfortable out-of-home living experience.

Yes, BA LLB is offered by the university. Check the eligibility criteria below:

1.        Passed Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent or (11+1) 'A' level in Senior School Leaving certificate course from a recognised Board in India or abroad.
2.        Minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying or higher examination- 45% (General Category) & 40% (SC/ST).
3.        Preference given to candidates who have appeared / cleared CLAT/LSAT/AILET (any one)
4.        Mandatory personal interview conducted by the University.

Every programme offered by Vidyashilp University has mandatory core courses that instill critical thinking, analytical skills, and ethical awareness for responsible citizens interdisciplinary learning.
