B.Sc in Medical Imaging Technology - Batch of 2026

The infrastructure and facilities are really good, but the environment & campus life are not great.
Placements: My college does not provide any placements, so students have to look for jobs themselves, and no packages are offered. The college is affiliated with hospitals and diagnostic centres. All students from my batch get internships in esteemed hospitals, working in fields such as Radiologic Technologies, CT/MRI Tech, and PACS Administration.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are really good at my college. The quality of food and the infrastructure provided are pleasant. Some canteens provide tasty snacks during breaks. A good medical facilities, and a fascinating area for sports and games.
Faculty: My faculty members are really qualified and share insightful knowledge with us. We get exposed to both theoretical and practical knowledge. The semester exams are not very difficult since it is a deemed university. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I have always wanted to work in healthcare and serve people. One of the best things about my course and field is that it reveals what is unseen to the normal human eye. I think all students should reduce the usage of screens and gain knowledge from textbooks. Tradition is one of the cons, so some remedies to reduce it are effective. Events and all that are average.

Review of Yenepoya (Deemed to be university).
Placements: There were a total of 104 students in our MIT course. The top recruiting companies for our course are Siemens. Almost everyone got an internship in many hospitals, such as First Neuro Hospital, Lekhshores Hospital, etc Our course offers many jobs in different areas, like technologies, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are really good. We do have AC classrooms with BenQ boards, which makes it easy for us to learn. The hostel is very neat and clean with good and healthy food. We have a ragging-free campus, which will encourage new bees to join our college and our course.
Faculty: The faculty is very good. They are very supportive and friendly towards the students. They help us with most of our work. Sometimes the semester exams get hectic as there will be very few gaps between the theory block and the practical block. We sometimes find it difficult.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in the diagnostic field.

The student intake at Yenepoya is quite overwhelming, and cultural differences limit connections.
Placements: 10% of students were placed in my course. I am not sure about the packages offered. Top recruiters are Siemens, GE Healthcare, Philips, and Allengers. All of my batchmates are currently doing their internship in a very reputed hospital in Karnataka and Kerala, respectively. The college has many courses like Radiology Technologies, CT/MRI Technologies, C-arm Technologies, and Application Specials.
Infrastructure: I am quite satisfied with the hostel as it offers excellent infrastructure and comfortable accommodation for Allied Health Sciences students. The facilities are well-maintained, and the food served is tasty and hygienic. The food is prepared with good quality standards as well.
Faculty: My faculty members are highly qualified in my field and are very helpful both professionally and personally. This course does make the students industry-ready with theoretical knowledge and hands-on training, and clinical postings in an esteemed hospital.
Other: Since I really loved the Biology subject back in my school, I've always wanted to learn more about the human body. When I found out about the greater career scope radiology has, I was intrigued and wanted to learn more about it. I really feel radiology stands out from most of the other courses and is amazing in itself. Radiology does not directly deal with being invasive, and it reveals what is hidden to a normal human eye. Ever since I started learning about radiology, I have just been more and more amazed by whatever I discover.

Excellent MLT course and campus with strong practical training.
Placements: Our MLT batch has 70 percent of students placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered is 4.5 LPA the lowest package offered is 2.2LPA and the average package offered is 3.1LPA. Top recruiting companies included Apollo Diagnostics Master Labs Metropolis and Vijaya Hospital. 85 percent of students received internships in reputed hospitals and diagnostic centers. The top roles offered were Medical Laboratory Technician Lab Assistant Quality Control Assistant and Phlebotomist. Medical Laboratory Technology plays a vital role in diagnosing diseases through laboratory analysis of blood urine, and other body samples.
Infrastructure: The MLT department offers well equipped labs for hematology, microbiology and biochemistry along with smart classrooms Wi-Fi, and a resourceful library that supports academic needs. The hostel provides clean rooms basic amenities and a safe environment for students. Mess food is hygienic and reasonably good and the canteen offers affordable snacks. Medical facilities are available through the campus health center and nearby hospital. Sports facilities including indoor and outdoor games help students stay active. Overall, the infrastructure for academic accommodations and student activities is satisfactory and supports a comfortable learning experience for MLT students.
Faculty: Teachers in the MLT department are generally helpful qualified and knowledgeable and they explain concepts clearly with practical examples. The teaching quality is good with a balance of theory and hands on training. The curriculum is relevant to current laboratory practices and helps students become industry ready through practical sessions and internships. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study and practical understanding. Most questions are based on what is taught in class and laboratory work. The overall pass percentage is usually high as the college provides good academic support and guidance to help students perform well.
Other: The MLT course attracted me because of my interest in diagnostics and laboratory sciences. The best part of the course is the strong practical exposure and supportive faculty. I wish the department has more advanced equipment and research opportunities. Campus life is lively with cultural fests sports events and seminars. The crowd is friendly and diverse creating a positive environment. Connectivity to the campus is good with easy transport access. The surroundings are safe and student friendly. Scholarships are available for deserving students and extracurricular activities like NSS sports and cultural clubs help in overall development.

Absolutely worth coming over here, best faculties and infrastructure, but the classmates are a nope.
Placements: It is a healthcare Job and the main purpose is to diagnose the soft issues. Once it has many opportunities, it can work in different fields, and also can assist in the procedure and should be needed in the operating theatre for detecting the implants or for other procedures.
Infrastructure: The quality and quantity are far better than any other colleges in Mangalore or in other hostels also. It is very nutritious. The facilities are also good. We are getting so much exposure at the Yenepoya Hospital yearly. There are so many tryouts for sports students who are interested in sports, and they have better facilities.
Faculty: The teaching, I should say, is fifty, some are dying to teach new things, and some are not, they like to work only for the fact that they are getting paid, no extra work. Exams are there every one and a half months. We have two internals within one semester, one semester is like 6 months.
Other: I chose this course because it has a scope and can try various fields regarding the course. Every semester, we have so many different cultural and food fests for charity, and all of it is a good environment.
