CMA Application Form 2026: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) facilitates the CMA admission form throughout the year. However, candidate's registration date makes him/her eligible for a specific exam term. The cutoff date CMA admission for candidates who wish to appear for June exam is January 31. Whereas the CMA enrolment cutoff date for the December exam is July 31. ICMAI may extend the last date to fill the CMA June 2026 admission form.

How to Apply for CMA June 2026 Examinations?

Candidates can apply online for CMA from the institute website:

  1. Visit ICMAI website, icmai.in Click 'Students' tab from the main menu.
  2. Click link reading 'Online Admission' from top right corner.
  3. Click 'Apply' button against the course which you wish to get enrolled to.
  4. Click 'Proceed' button after reading all instructions.
  5. Create login account and fill all details.
  6. Pay enrolment fee before the cutoff date.

Q:   What is the deadline for the CMA application form for admission?
A: 

ICMAI has defined the deadline to fill the CMA application form for admission. Candidates willing to appear for the CMA June exam term must complete the online registration and enrol to the course by July 31. Candidates aspiring to appear for the CMA exam in December session must be enrolled with ICMAI on or before July 31. ICMAI may or may not extend the cutoff date for enrolment; however, the institute will publish a fresh notification mentioning the extension to fill the admission form.

Q:   I have completed B.Com, do I need to enrol on CMA Foundation course or can I directly apply for CMA Intermediate course?
A: 

No, you need not to apply and pursue the CMA Foundation course. Completing a graduate degree course marks the candidates eligibility for direct entry to CMA Intermediate. The space below mentions the cases where a candidate is marked eligible for the direct admission to CMA Intermediate course:

  • Passed a degree exam of any recognised University or equivalent
  • Passed a degree (honours) exam of anyrecognised University;
  • Pursuing Engineering course (having completed Semester IV/equivalent) or are qualified engineers;
  • Passed a Master degree exam from a recognised University or any of the IIMs;
  • Passed an Engineering degree exam from any recognised University or any of the IITs or IISc;
  • Passed the Final exam of the any of the following
    • Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England and Wales, or Scotland 
      or Ireland
    • Final exam of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, London,
    • Final exam of the ICSI;
    • Final exam of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, U.K.
  • Passed the Foundation course exam of this ICMAI;
  • Completed the entry Level-Part I exam of Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) course of ICMAI;
  • Completed the entry Level-Part I exam and Competency Level Part II exam of Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) course of ICMAI can seek admission to Intermediate course of ICMAI;

Besides the above mentioned eligibility conditions, there are some other criteria to obtain direct admission to the ICMAI course.

Q:   Can I take CMA exam two times in a year?
A: 

CMA exam is conducted twice a year - June and December. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India allows candidates to appear for the exam twice in a year, provided they fill and submit the exam form before last date for both sessions.

Q:   What is meant by CMA admission form?

CMA admission form refers to the application form to be filled by the candidate for enrolment into the CMA course. Candidates need to fill the CMA admission form to enrol tyhemselves into any of the three levels of CMA course. However, candidates must have fulfiled the eligibility conditions before filling the admission cum enrolment form for CMA.

The Institute of Cost Accountant of India hosts the admission form throughout the year for enrolment into any of the two exam terms, June or December. To take the CMA exam in the June term, candidates need to fill the application/admission form by January 31. On the contrary, to appear for CMA December term exams, candidates need to complete the enrolment process on or before July 31. ICMAI may change the deadlines to complete the CMA enrolmebt for a particular exam term. 

Q:   What is the exam form fees for CMA Final course?
A: 

Candidates filling the CMA exam form for Final course have to pay the exam fees based on the choice of groups and exam centre preference. Candidates choosing to appear for one group of Final course have to pay the exam fee as mentioned below:

  • Inland centres: INR 1,400
  • Overseas centres: USD 100

Candidates choosing two group levels for CMA Final course have to pay the exam fee as mentioned below:

  • Inland centres: INR 2,800
  • Overseas centres: USD 100

Q:   Is there a common exam application form for all three course levels of CMA?

No, ICMAI releases the CMA exam form for all three courses via a separate window. Besides a separate login portal, ICMAI sets a separate deadline to fill the CMA Foundation exam form. While the deadline to fill and submit CMA exam form for Intermediate and Final courses has a separate deadline.

CMA Foundation students can fill and submit the exam form to appear for the test subjects under the Foundation course. Similar is the case with CMA Intermediate and Final course.

The CMA exam form releases along with the release of the exam dates. The exam form is to be submitted online, while the CMA admission form can be submitted online as well as offline.

Important Instructions While Filling CMA Application Form

During CMA application form filling process, candidates must keep following instructions in mind:

  • Domestic students must not fill CMA form in offline mode.
  • CMA application form for overseas centres must be applied in offline mode.
  • Students from overseas have to send a DD along with their form.
  • Students must pay their CMA application fee online via Net Banking or Credit/Debit Card. Payfee Module of IDBI Bank is also eligible for fee payment.
  • CMA fee for one group and two groups is different. Candidates must check both and then submit their form.

Candidates need to pay INR 23,100 as the CMA Intermediate fee on or before January 31 if the candidate plans to take exam in June term. The fee is payable by July 31, if the candidate plans tro appear for the CMA December exam.

CMA Final Course Fee

Candidates need to pay INR 25,000 as the CMA Final fee on or before January 31 if the candidate plans to take exam in June term. The fee is payable by July 31, if the candidate plans tro appear for the CMA December exam.

Candidates will have options to pay the Intermediate and Final course fee in two installments. However, candidates must complete the payment of complete fee before the final admission deadline.

Q:   What is the exam form fee for the CMA Foundation course?
A: 

Candidates filling the CMA examination form for Foundation course must pay the exam fee on or before the deadline. The exam fee varies based on the choice of exam centre, i.e. inland or overseas exam centres. Candidates choosing an inland exam centre need to pay INR 1200 as the exam application fee. Whereas, candidates choosing a overseas exam centre preference have to pay USD 60.

The examination fee is to be paid online by the candidates choosing an inland exam centre. While the candidates choosing an overseas exam centre must send a demand draft along with the form.
