CMA Dec Registration 2026: Application Last Date for Foundation, Inter & Final Exam

Yes, ICMAI has released the CMA Dec exam dates 2026 on its official website. According to the official schedule, the CMA Intermediate and CMA Final exams will be held between December 10 and December 17, 2026. CMA Foundation exam will be held on December 13, 2026.

CMA exam is usually considered difficult to crack in one attempt. However, if a candidate is diligent with his/her preparation and practices mock exams, past papers and sample papers thoroughly before exam, their chances of passing the exam increases.

The CMA Intermediate exam for June 2026 session was conducted between June 11 and June 18, 2026. 

CA is usually considered tougher than CMA if we consider the volume of syllabus and study. Also, the pass rate for CA exam is lower than that for CMA exam.

The CMA Intermediate course registration fee is INR 23,100. Candidates can pay this amoung in two installments - INR 12,000 at the time of registration, and INR 11,100 before January 31 and July 31 for June and December term exams.

To clear CMA Foundation, Inter or Final exam in first attempt, candidates must strengthen their basics, cover syllabus, practice as much as possible, stay away from distraction, attempt full-length mock tests, use smart revision techniques and evaluate their progess weekly or monthly.

Students must give at least 8-10 hours daily for each group of CMA exam for about 3 months to prepare well of the exam.

The CMA June 2026 exam for the Foundation course was conducted for all four papers on June 14, 2026 (Sunday). According to official notice, ICMAI conducts this exam through an offline OMR centre based.

ICMAI administered CMA Final exam June 2026 between June 11 and June 18, 2026. The mode of examination was offline centre based.

Candidates have to pay INR 25,000 as CMA Final course registration fee. ICMAI allows candidates to pay this amount in two installments as follows:

• 1st Installement: INR 15,000 (at the time of registration)
• 2nd Installment: INR 10,000 (before January 31 and July 31 for June and December term exams)

ICMAI has defined the deadline to fill the CMA application form for admission. Candidates willing to appear for the CMA June exam term must complete the online registration and enrol to the course by July 31. Candidates aspiring to appear for the CMA exam in December session must be enrolled with ICMAI on or before July 31. ICMAI may or may not extend the cutoff date for enrolment; however, the institute will publish a fresh notification mentioning the extension to fill the admission form.

CMA exam is conducted twice a year - June and December. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India allows candidates to appear for the exam twice in a year, provided they fill and submit the exam form before last date for both sessions.

No, you need not to apply and pursue the CMA Foundation course. Completing a graduate degree course marks the candidates eligibility for direct entry to CMA Intermediate. The space below mentions the cases where a candidate is marked eligible for the direct admission to CMA Intermediate course:

• Passed a degree exam of any recognised University or equivalent
• Passed a degree (honours) exam of anyrecognised University;
• Pursuing Engineering course (having completed Semester IV/equivalent) or are qualified engineers;
• Passed a Master degree exam from a recognised University or any of the IIMs;
• Passed an Engineering degree exam from any recognised University or any of the IITs or IISc;
• Passed the Final exam of the any of the following
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England and Wales, or Scotland 
    or Ireland
  • Final exam of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, London,
  • Final exam of the ICSI;
  • Final exam of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, U.K.
• Passed the Foundation course exam of this ICMAI;
• Completed the entry Level-Part I exam of Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) course of ICMAI;
• Completed the entry Level-Part I exam and Competency Level Part II exam of Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) course of ICMAI can seek admission to Intermediate course of ICMAI;
