No, there is no negative marking in CS Executive examination. CS Executive question paper will consist of description/subjective questions which will have no negative marking. 

For objective type question, for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted and one mark will be given for every correct response. 

The qualifying criteria for ICSI CS Executive programme refers to the minimum marks required by the candidates both section-wise and overall to qualify the examination. The ICSI CS Executive qulaifying criteria is as follows:

CS Executive examination for December 2025 session will be held in offline mode. Candidates will have to report to the alloted exam centre on the day of exam day. Candidates will be able to know the alloted exam centre when the admit card is released. The ICSI CS Executive exam will be held across India. Candidates will be able to choose the preferred CS Executive exam city while filling the application form. Candidates must carefull read the exam day instructions mentioned on the admit card. Test takers failing to adhere by the instructions will be disqualified. 

The ICSI CS Executive examination is a combination of descriptiove and Multiple Choice Questions. The exam is divided in Two groups. The first group consist of four papers and second paper consists of three papers. Each paper will consist of maximum 100 marks. The medium of ICSI CS Executive question paper is English only.

ICSI CS Executive question paper will consist of six questions in each subject. The total marks for each paper is 100. Refer to the table below to know the ICSI CS Executive pattern:

To appear for the ICSI CS Pre Examination Test (PET) candidates must refer the steps mentioned below:

Step 1- Visit the official website of ICSI

Step 2- Click on the 'E-learning' tab followed by Pre-Interview Test (PET) tab

Step 3- Select the examination to appear for

Step 4- Select the module

Step 5- Enter the login credentials- Your login ID is your registration number (without any slash sign) suffix with @icsi.edu for example- If your registration number is 1234567/10/2018 then your login ID will be 1234567102018 [at]icsi.edu and fefault password for first time login is Learn@1234

Step 6- Appear for the Pre-interview test online.

ICSI CS Executive passing marks refers to minimum score required by cadidates in each subject to qualify the CS Executive exam. As per ICSI, candidates must score minimum 40 percent in each subject and 50% overall to qyalify the examination. Candidates failing to meet the CS Executive qualifying criteria will not be considered pass. They shall appear for the CS Executive examination in upcoming session.

The last date of appearing for CS Executive examination under old syllabus is in June 2024. Candidates preparing for CS Executive exam will have to appear for the CS Exam as per new syllabus from December 2024. The first examination under CS Executive new syllabus 2023 will be held in December 2023. Candidates who have registered for CS Executive progarmme from February 01, 2023 onwards will have to appear as per the CS Executive new syllabus. Candidates can apply for switchover to new syllabus. Step 3- Now click on “New Foundation Student Login/Executive Student Login and enter the login credentials

Step 4- Now click on Module>Switch over>Apply for switchover

Step 5- Student request screen will appear

Step 6- Enter the details prescribed

Step 7- Confirm the details entered
